Weight gain can be a time-consuming process. But you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. Take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts.

No need to go for supplement, you should maintain your protein and carbohydrate from your dietary sources. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins and include fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts.

Hi, I am healthy fat (around 75 kgs, height 5 ft 10 inches ). Though I wish to be much thinner (face fat, body fat ). I was quite thinner till last year as I was staying in hostel and starved most of the times. I still can moderately starve and I know my body will respond very quickly. However, I saw a documentary how starvibg moderately could be lowering my metabolism which in turn will make me fatter if I start eating normally. Pls suggest me a way to get thinner, possibly increasing metabolism and decrease body weight. I eat clean mostly.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Your thyroid test results seem to be fine. There is no hypothyroidism. Being under weight is not due to any problem with thyroid gland. It could be related to your dietary intake and physical activity (exercise). My suggestion is please join a gym and do certain exercises under guidance of a trainer and take more proteins in the diet. You are pretty young, so weight can be built. Thanks.

Hi lybrate-user, what you are describing sounds like an anxiety attack and since you have already been diagnosed with anxiety I suggest that in addition to medication, you should get to the root of the issue.
