may I know what treatment is on for both diabetes and high blood pressure? also please give your hba1c% and lipid profile data. From your present info your bmi is 28.52 kg/m2 (normal 23kg/m2). For your back pain apart from taking analgesics (pain killers) occasionally you should specific exercises for strengthening the back muscles.

Ok avoid long standing and strain full activity. Tk hot and cold pack for 20 minutes. Apply pain relief ointment and rest if it work to reduce your pain then ok otherwise tk wax therapy and ultrasonic therapy for 7 days and do calf stretching exercise and gentle movement of ankle strength.

Hello, Recently on last friday, my friend had ankle twist while stepping down from two wheeler. She had severe pain for which she took pain killer and applied iodex and covered it with crepe bandage and I also suggested her for ice massage and elevation and rest. Still after 5 days, she is having swelling and severe pain. Please advise what to do for faster recovery. Thanks.

it would be more likely due to ligament sprain. If the pain worsens or swelling worsens it would be better to get an xray to rule out hairline fractures. Ice, elevation usually helps for soft tissue injuries

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. It is critical to get an accurate diagnosis, so go and see a sports physician, an orthopaedic surgeon or a qualified sports physiotherapist who has experience working with cricketers. A full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed. More importantly, they will likely investigate your lower back using a combination of oblique lumbar x-rays, a bone scan, ct scan, or more likely a mri, which will show more accurately any areas of bone activity. The goal of the investigations is to primarily determine whether there is an active fracture present and whether the body is trying to heal itself. Can try some home relief techniques until you go to a specialist: -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time best wishes.

Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? any underlying medical condition? the pain in legs can be because of - muscle cramps (due to tiredness or dehydration), shin splints (doing activity over and over on hard surfaces can bring this on. You may also be more likely to get shin splints if you have flat feet or your feet turn outward. Rest your legs to feel better. Ice helps), tendinitis (you can get it from overworking the calf muscle or climbing the stairs, apply ice to get some relief), sprains (do rest, ice, compression & elevation). Other causes are varicose veins, arterial disease, sciatica, diabetic neuropathy. Medication: meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - arnica 200 and rhus tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply schwabe's topi-arnica and topi mp gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Don't skip your meals. Take milk and products, paneer, egg, omelette with bread. Do strach exercise alternate days. Take milk shake nd stuff parathas. Take butter milk. Take whole pulses.

Hello. I just thought that it was very important for me to ask you some helps regarding my friends injury. I have a friend who plays football, but it's been like 6 months without playing football because since then his ankle was injured. He says it started from spraining of his medial ankle and he is not able to walk long distances and run and this has been going on for 6 months now. Hello dear some time there will hair line fracture and it's always in controversy so have a digital x-ray it's so cleverly. And some time but most common ligament injury it's not seen in x-ray and clinical findings are like normal so don't worry about it. Do muscle strength exercise and use some support like bands or tape this pain will reduce.
