I have shoulder pain in the interval of 15-20 days and its stays for the same day till I take rest and also I am unable to throw a ball or a stone with full thrust a normal person should be capable of. It happened when I was playing badminton. I smashed the shuttle eventually a sound was produced from my shoulder. Please advise.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

At present complete bed rest for at least one week. Avoid sitting cross-legged, avoid squatting. You can do hot fomentation two times a day. Avoid lifting weights for at least 12 weeks to ensure proper healing of knee.

Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If no relief in 4_5 days, then inform again.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Shoulder advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I tore my ACL partially a few years back. It did not need a surgery and never hurt much. I have done proper rehab and have strengthened the muscles surrounding it. Recently I had stopped working out for 3-4 months and went back to playing football 2 weeks back and twisted my knee. It hurts a bit. I wanted to know what are the exercises I can do to strengthen my ACL.

Hamstring strengthening exercises will be helpful. Partially torn acl is at an increased risk of getting damaged with contact sports.

Hi Acute onset stiffness in the lower back region could be due to muscular issue or an acute exacerbation to a chronic lower back problem. My advise will be to: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you, a proper muscle relaxant can also be added for initial 5-7 days - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc in case you are having back pain.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment 2. Learn exercises for knee 3. Don't sit on floor. 4. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 5. Wear knee cap. 6. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

It may be mortans metatarsalgia. Start hot saline fomentation followed by volini gel and ankle and feet exercises. Use soft footwear.

Do take ift physiotherapy treatment regularly for 12 days of 15 min duration and check if you have any vascular lesions etc, do give hot and cold water fomentation of 15 min duration each respectively to relieve from pain.

Hi it is possible to prevent neuropathy in your feet. Here are some tips to help you live a healthy lifestyle and prevent damage to the nerves in your feet: +rule out diabetes, vitamin b12 +eat plenty of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and lean protein. +exercise regularly. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. +be aware if you are sitting or standing in a cramped position; move around or shift often. +avoid repetitive motions; if possible, change your routines. For example, swim one day and run the next. +discuss new diets and exercise programs with your doctor first. Best wishes.

I am 39 year male guy facing following problems from last three months. 1] Both knee's paining while sitting and standing. 2] Difficulty in full breathing of full. I hv worked in power plant environment from over a year to last month. 3] joint pains in arms, toes, knees and back pain. 4] seeing black coloured spots while standing 5] now feeling lack of full strength inside the body. Before a year feeling full strength but now not. 6] over a year ago in oct 2014 weight is 63 kg and now weight is 57 kg. 7] feeling asthmatic while running and walking. 8] can't able to breathe from both holes un neck. Can breath from online right side hole. 9] I have frozen left side testicles, frequently itching in gap between lap and testicles. 10] I have left side facial paralysis from 2002 need to see expert who can cure it. 12] feeling very weakness and eye lids itching. 13] hair are falling14] I feel always tensed due to pending work and due to job tensions. Please suggest suitable medication which can cure above said things of my health and I can become fit with health.

I am 47 years old. About 15 year ago I faced a shock in my lower back due to put a heavy weight. I felt some heavy pain in lower back for 20-25 days but ignored. After that it may be happen 1-3 times in a year occasionally. When pain happen it remains about 8-10 days.

Recurrent back pain does need an evaluation by physical examination by a spine orthopaedic surgeon. Since you don't report pain radiation to lower limbs, it may be localised lesion in disc or surrounding ligaments. An MRI may give clue As of now, your treatment may be conservative, with back strengthening exercises, a brace wearing in daytime, anti inflammatory, muscle relaxant gels or oral medications. Unless your routine work is badly restricted, then only surgery may be indicated. For partial prolapse of disc without radiation of pain to lower limbs, ozone injections are given by many spine specialists to shrink the disc and for ling term symptomatic relief. If severe prolapse, as shown by symptoms or MRI, percutaneous disectomy is advisable.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands.
