Exercise can be best guided to you by a physical therapist but there are mainly flexion and extension exercises depending upon the spinal pathology, general conditioning exercises and abdominal strengthening exercises, posture counseling etc but consult a good physical therapist for this . Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hi, You should keep regular walking with exercises at least half an hour in the morning and half an hour at evening. Medication:- Pois. Ok. 0/1 three times a day for one week. Revert back after one week with feedback.

Hi pain in the shoulder usually happen due to weak rotator cuff muscles so start strengthening the muscle and apply some hot pack for relaxing the tensed muscles.

I am 23yr old female, I have been suffering from backache and difficulty in standing due to dragging down pain in back (thoracic). This problem started 7-8yrs back and I is now worse. I did physiotherapy once and got benefitted from it. I am mostly suspecting it to be postural backache. But if I sit or stand straight then pain increases. Now since couple of months I have been getting pain in lower limbs also. I have ignored this problem since many yrs but now I want to get rid of it asap before it gets too late! kindly suggest me investigations to be done and treatment.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Try few things for temporary relief of your back pain: -avoid activities that require bending forward at the waist or stooping. -try to avoid lifting objects if at all possible. -sit as little as possible, and only for short periods of time (10 to 15 minutes). -sit with a back support (such as a rolled-up towel) at the curve of your back. -keep your hips and knees at a right angle. (use a foot rest or stool if necessary.) your legs should not be crossed and your feet should be flat on the floor. -Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. “Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful -Strengthen your core. Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. -Apply heating pads to comfort tender trunks. Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain. Please get help from a physiotherapist for further assessment and management of your back pain.

After lifting a not very heavy handbag full of clothes in December, I experienced a painful cramp on the dorsal part of right hand just below the elbow. That pain continues in a network in that area and and my hand palm and fingers are too weak to tackle and lift a dictionary or a book. The pain also occurs when sitting idle mostly while sitting. But can tackle and lift heavier things like a plastic chair without pain. Had C2 C3, spondylitis with left upper arm pain also.

Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. Gentle Stretching of Hand Muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist Exerciser.

This may be muscles spasm or prolapsed disc. You will need Complete rest for 7 days. Use firm bed. Don't lift weight. Do not bend forward. Hot fomantation twice daily. Some medicines will help

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -Apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Good posture plays a key role in your spine health, helping to prevent additional back and neck pain and even injuries to spinal structures. Try to be aware of your posture and make good posture part of your normal routine. -head up, shoulders back, rear tucked under -Stand and walk with correct posture -Sit with support -Lift and carry carefully -And finally, keep moving:-Maintaining a static position for too long—more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time—is hard on the back. Prolonged static posture can slowly deplete elasticity from the tissues. By simply moving—be it a change of position, a stretch, or a short walk—the tissue elasticity needed to protect your joints can be restored and the associated discomfort reduced. -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT current can give you relief. -Consult a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your back pain. -For her breast pain problems please consult a Gynecologist. Hi lybrate-user, ofcourse it would be difficult to suggest medication or muscle relaxants without a proper physical assessment. You could try with hot fomentation - with hot water bags or electric hot pads and see if it helps.

Sleep on hard surface with pillow which is hard. Soft pillows and quills will damage our spine leading to spinal problems. So better you sleep on hard surface.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and get her blood checked for CBC, uric acid, creatine and revert back with reports

May be sudden cerebral ischaemia due to vertebro basilar insufficiency which may be demonstrated in a carotid angiogram. Wait for reports. Then something may be possible to comment upon.

You are suffering with diabetic ulcer. It is due to poor supply of blood to the part. Stop smoking ,control tightly the blood sugar. Proper dressing by specialist ,off-loading means rest to part and continued long effort is required. Be sincere otherwise you may get mishappening.

When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. ub some warm olive, coconut or mustard oil on the affected area. Using gentle yet firm strokes, massage your legs for about 10 minutes. Do this 2 or 3 times daily as needed. mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder with enough warm sesame oil to make a paste. Apply it on the affected area and rub gently. Wait 30 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Do this twice daily as needed. Also, drink a glass of hot turmeric milk once or twice daily. Another option is to take turmeric as a dietary supplement.
