Do any exercise which you enjoy and it should not cause any pain (cycling, swimming or yoga). Do not starve to loose weight. It should be slow and steady process. Stop eating three types of food - 1. Sugar or any food item which has added sugar. 2. Rice. 3. Wheat or food items made up of wheat. Let me know the result after 3 months.

Last night i watched that my sprain's colour became reddish, please help and suggest me, what the resigned.

First tell me where did you have sprain and since how many days? and if it has become reddish n painful .Then apply cold on it .Ice cubes packed in a polyethene.Keep it there for 10mins .3-4 times a day .And tie a crepe bandage on it .And also keep it elevated . Once pain gets relieved, you must visit a physiotherapist for further treatment. Thankyou

I'm male 30 years old and unmarried. Height-164cm, weight-80kg, my problem was started from before 5 day's, while wakeup morning abdomen to feet feel like paralyzed, if I try to move leg's, its giving too much pain at leg muscles. Dear lybrate user, you must take rhus tox 200 thrice a day five drops in water for two days and call back in detail for further course of medicine. Do massage of legs with seasame oil at night daily. Take vitamin d. Also take one dose of four tablets of kali phos 12 x daily at night for five days.

Hello may be this is due to weather effect or may be indiegtion. Hows your food habit now a days. Advice 1) take ginger water twice a day. Take 1 glass of water and add 1/2 spoon of ginger in it. Boil upto 1 cup remaining of liquid. Than filter it and drink twice a day. 2) do not eat out side food. Thank you.

Hello Sir/Madam My mom has been facing some critical pain in her legs nerve. The pain starts from the upper knees (right side leg) & goes to the feet. She has been in treatment for last 2 months but there is no relief. First I consulted to a general physician but but there was no relief. Currently she is taking medicine prescribed by homeopathic physician, it has already been a month taking medicine but there is no relief seems. Leg pain in your case (considering your mother's age) could be a 1. Reffered pain from spine. 2 knee osteoarthritis 3. Decreased blood supply for accurate diagnosis and management consult a pain specialist for further tests and treatment. Meanwhile follow these tips to get some relief. 1. Avoid prolonged standing or sitting. Change posture in between. 2. Apply cold pack over painful area for 10 mins 4 times a day. 3. Back stretching exercises daily. 4. Quadriceps stretching exercises and strengthening exercises. 5. Calcium and vitamin d supplement. 6. Avoid sitting cross-legged or squatting. 7. Adequate liquid intake of at least 2 litre per day. For definite diagnosis and treatment further details of her pain character and tests are needed.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

If there is no injury then tk heat fermentation twice a day avoid strain and do quadriceps exercise must for you ya physiotherapy treatment.

Hi I have been having severe problems with sleep. I cannot sleep at all. I hardly sleep foe 2 hours properly. I have been taking Lonazep and Mirtaz for many years. I have the problem since last 6 years. I had consulted a psychiatrist initially for the first year and later, I did not. I do not get proper sleep even after taking those pills. I have somehow managed to taper down the dose. Currently, I have stopped Lonazep completely and Mirtaz, I ma taking only 7.5 Mg. But My sleep is worse, and everymorning I get up with body pain, too much tiredness and burning eyes and nauseating feeling. Serious problems, like burning sensation in hips and thighs during the day. And weakness in legs and also severe Pain in Feet have already started. I have restless and painful legs during sleep and feet stiffness and pain is throughout the day. I ma not sure whether this is nerve or ortho related but definitely sure that this is because of my sleep problems. I am really frustrated with the other mentioned problems as well. I am 36, in a good job with no stress at work and my personal family stress is also minimal. I am single as well Please help!

Requires detailed investigation and examination Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.
