Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Hello lybrate user, leg pain after running is common due to spasm in the leg muscles known as tibialis anterior which functions to pull the foot towards your body during walking, running. When a person runs or exerts an unaccustomed stress there occurs production of lactic acid in the muscle which is quite painful. Relief by: rest ice application stretching exercises will help a lot god bless you.

Which game do you play? if its because of injury, apply ice pack 5 times daily for 10 minutes every time. Rest for few days. Do not run. You need some exercises and some medicines.

Approximately 2-4 times a month I experience a jerk in my lower back and the pain from it lasts in a day or two or sometimes in an hour. This can happen any time but usually happens when I play cricket. It pains a lot when I try to bend a little. Please suggest me something.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Do share investigation reports if you have any.

Avoid long standing, bending, lifting, lying on the floor, floor sitting. Try to apply hot pack maximum day and try to apply ls belt. Get well soon.

If there is dislocation you have to undergo correction by relocating the structure or to undergo surgery immediately.Still chances are there to dilocate again so better to use walker in furure..

Hunching over a desk is a leading reason why people end up with crippling back pain at some point in their lives. But a few simple changes in the way you work can make your pain go away. If you follow these advises you won't be having back pain while working in IT sector. 1-Keep your head up; Focus on aligning your head and neck right above your shoulders; avoid straining forward. 2-Be choosy with your chair: Pick one that allows your lower back to rest against a lumbar support. Then tilt the back of the chair so it’s very slightly reclined. 3-Plant your feet: Keep them flat on the floor and shoulder-width apart to quiet tension in your knees and ankles. 4-Take breaks: Getting up at least once an hour— just do some shoulder rolls—reduces pressure on spinal disks and boosts circulation. 5-Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. 6-Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time 7--Stretching and strengthening exercises of your back and core muscles are important. I have back pain at my lower part when I drive bike for long journey or short journey when I stop my bike and when I stand I have a mild pain for minutes after that when sit mild pain occur at night when I got sleep no pain occur .this pain occur during or sitting time. Hi Binod... Your complain reveals that you are having muscle tightness in your lower limbs. Do regular stretching exercises for hams, piriformis, calf, quads. Use hot fomentation on your back.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

Dear Lybrate user, Before prescribing any exc. we need to make a diagnosis because there can be lots of reasons for cervical/neck pain. It can be cervical spondylosis to as simple as muscular spasm. You can take a moist heat pack around your neck using a towel for pain relief but you need to follow a strict exc. and rest regime under expert advise to cure this. I hope I helped you ! • Calf Stretches • Standing calf stretch • Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. • Downward dog yoga stretch • Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Hello Lybrate uses .u haven't got any relief by medicine because reason behind might be your posture, your type of job in bad posture .improve your posture, sit and stand straight, keep a pillow behind your lower back and chair in order to support lower back and keep back straight n maintain that lordotic. Curve of spine .do regular breaks in between work .do stretching exercise in breaks. Also can apply ice packs locally.
