Not having sex for longer duration is common at this age. You need to avoid anxiety and smoking, alcohol. At this age, there may be some serious problems in body like problems in heart, blood, sugar, hormones, nerves and even penis itself. We need to pinpoint that cause and treat it for permanent cure. Don't try drugs shown in tv/ newspaper if you want to have safe life.

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, psoriasis is not a disease of skin only, it affects the joints too in most of the patients having skin lesions. And a little tricky to treat. I will advise you to get properly evaluated and monitored personally by an orthopaedic surgeon in your vicinity. Take care.

Low back pain has to be assessed for its cause with x rays and mri if needed and the exact cause needs to be identified before coming to treatment. Pain killlers will only make you not aware of pain and will not cure it. So resort to proper treatment with physiotherapy. Proper homoeopathic treatment can cure this condition.

Your are not getting proper sleep due to over thinking and anxiety. I won't suggest you any sleeping pills as they are harmful and risk of getting addicted. Opt for ayurvedic medicine that are safe and natural.

To get pregnant you need to have fallopian tubes patent which is checked by hsg test and semen should be adequate quality which is checked by semen analysis. These both tests are done before the treatment of any infertile couple. Once the above tests are normal, then treatment with clomiphene citrate is started with monitoring of egg. You need to consult a good gynecologist who would start proper treatment for u.

You know your problem is your internet chatting - stop it - only you can decide to stop it - no one can force you to do so. If you still feel tempted , shut down your gadgets at 10 . Fix a time for checking the messages - that too stand in one place , in a room without the fan on - don't walk or sit - this will not allow you to be at it for long. Only if YOU decide to give up the temptation , then you can improve your routine. Social networking is not bad BUT too much of everything is bad. Find time to read '7 Habits of most effective people' by Steven Covey. It will help you be a determined person.

I have a slight back pain issue for about an year now. It's worse In the mornings. I am a marine engineer and fear I have lifted weights the wrong way on a ship during my apprentice days. Sometimes because of stress or many other lifestyle factors or hormonal changes, ovulation does not occur for one month and menses gets delayed or comes early. As you said you used to have regular cycles, that means you are regularly having ovulation. No need to panic and no need of any tests. Wait for another month or so, your menses will come regular. This happens because of temporary hormonal changes.

\“Diet and exercise” – that’s the mantra that most people swear by, when it comes to losing weight the healthy way. But the word “diet” is more than just the food put on a plate. A very important component of a healthy diet is the amount of water a person drinks in a day.
While drinking water is not a magic pill to shed those pounds faster, not being adequately hydrated could make weight loss a little harder.
Why do you need to drink water?
Water helps your body to function correctly. Water is required for a number of chemical reactions and metabolic processes that take place in individual cells, tissues and organs. But if you don’t drink sufficient water, these reactions and processes will not function the way they’re supposed to. And this could affect your overall metabolism.
Let’s look at some of the ways water can help you in your weight loss program.
You’re not hungry… you’re just thirsty!
Sometimes, the body is not able to differentiate between hunger and thirst. So if you feel hungry and tempted to snack on high-calorie food, have a glass of water first. It could be that you are, in fact, just thirsty and the glass of water would make you feel full and prevent you from consuming the extra calories.
Water can help you eat less
Drinking water some time before a meal has its benefits in overall weight loss, possibly because you feel full and therefore tend to eat smaller portions of food at mealtime.
In one study, people who drank water before a meal ate about 75 calories fewer during the meal. That, in itself, may not seem like much. But 75 x 365 (days in a year) means 27375 calories less in a year, which corresponds to an approximately 4 kilo weight loss, without much effort on your part.
Water can help you digest your food better
Drinking sufficient quantities of water is also important for your kidneys to function correctly and reduce the risk of kidney stones. Water also helps to prevent constipation.
Research seems to confirm the benefits of water during weight loss
There is no place here to discuss all the studies that talk about weight loss and water. But let us look at two studies:
In one study, there were 48 overweight and obese middle-aged adults who were put on a low-calorie diet. Some of them were asked to drink about 500 ml of water before each of their three meals a day. At the end of three months, those who drank the extra water lost about 2 kgs more than those who didn’t drink water.
Another study looked at how people tend to gain weight as they get older. This study was carried out over 4 years. Those who had a higher intake of water and those who substituted their sugar-sweetened beverage consumption with water were less likely to put on weight over the years.
To drink or not to drink
If you are on a diet to lose weight, you will definitely be keeping an eye on your calories on your plate. But remember to watch your fluid intake as well!
Here’s a quick list of what you should drink and what you should stay a mile away from, when losing weight.
Keep these at reach:
Water: If you’ve read this article, then you are already aware of how important and healthy it is to drink water and stay hydrated, when trying to lose weight
100% fruit juice: make sure you check the label first. Fruit juice often comes with added sugars and those can be high in calorie, though high in nutritive value
Vegetable juice: While vegetable juice is often as nutritious as fruit juices, they often come with fewer calories and a lot of fibre
Skimmed or low-fat milk: by giving you the goodness of calcium with far less calories, the low fat milk option is much better than whole milk, when on a diet.
Black coffee: coffee is a good source of anti-oxidants and largely calorie-free, just as long as it’s black.
Green tea: another great source of antioxidants, green tea may also aid weight loss
Stay away from
Carbonated drinks: high in calories and low in nutrition, it’s best to avoid these – whether you’re on a diet or not
Fruit juices with sugar: some fruit juices have as much sugar added as carbonated drinks. Make sure you check the labels before buying these
Energy drinks: once again, check the label on these products first. While energy drinks provide a boost of much-needed energy, they are often high calorie drinks
Alcohol: alcohol is high in calories, and that is without counting the fried snacks or nuts that usually accompany a glass of alcohol

I am 29 year old male and I am going to a gym from past 3 years but I am noticing a very low or almost zero progress in my muscle buildup. I am not taking any supplements, I am planning to start using supplements, so I need to ask a few things like my triglycerides level at 258, cholesterol at 228 and Uric acid at 6.4 which was once at almost 8-9 points. I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. Hye. Thanks for the query. This is not uncommon. Stretch marks are usually an issue when you lose or gain wrong weight. Whatever is your weight on scale is not important. What is the weight is important. At times you are underweight as per scale but your father percentage is higher then it's not healthy weight. So, try to eat healthy. Exercise whatever you like. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Eat smaller meals frequently than heavy meals at one time. Eat 3 -4 servings of fruits daily. Avoid spicy foods, fermented foods, carbonated drinks. Antacid if hyperacidity. Hope this helps you.
