If your able to walk do 30 mins of brisk walking daily. Inculcalate yoga in your daily exercises. Stop smoking, chewing tobbaco, alcohal cosumption if any. Modify your diet eat lots of salads and green vegies. Cut on mutton you can have fish. Have sprouts. Cut on oil and spices. Monitor your bp regularly.

Dear lybrateuser, -it is a fact that stress plays a vital role in bp & heart problems & a type a personality is at a higher risk of developing it -to avoid the same in future we have to take precaution in respect of our diet, exercise & stress management -avoid fried, processed, junk food, restrict salt, sugar, pickles, papad -do regular exercise like walking, jogging, cycling for 20-30 min per day, also do yoga, meditation, deep breathing for 5-10 min a day -read, listen to music, follow a hobby to reduce stress.

Kidneys function is to filter blood for toxins and hearts function is to receive impure blood to one side and send that blood to lungs for purification and than again receive that pure blood and send it to body tissue.

What should be done if BP is 70 what home remedy should be given to patient if patient is having low bp.

For Recovering from low BP follow these best methods: • Anaemia is a cause of low BP so check your hemoglobin level (Hb) if this is low so eat green leafy vegetables, beetroot and fruits like pomegranate. • Eat an apple daily it maintain your BP normal. • Take your meal daily do not skip meal. • Drink 8 - 9 glass of water daily. Hydrate your body well with drinking proper amount of water because dehydration is also cause fall of BP. • When you feel that your BP is low then take 2 teaspoons of Glucon D and add a pinch of salt mix it in one glass of water and drink it. You can repeat it after 2 hours. This will maintain electrolyte balance and your BP. You can drink a cup of tea. • Drink a glass of milk daily. It maintain your stamina. • Take a multivitamin capsule daily for 15 days. • Eat a teaspoon of gulkand daily and maintain your blood sugar level. • Do long breathing pranayams daily and do not take stress.

I am suffering from low blood pressure to last 2 weak at 2 to 4 time in a day what should I do please tell me?

Hi, Follow these tips to increase your blood pressure: 1. Increase intake of salt by adding salt to curds rice and taking pickles along with curds rice. 2. Drink plenty of fluids like Nimbu pani, tender coconut, water, buttermilk, fresh fruit juices,etc. 3.Drink hot coffee or tea when you feel dizzy. 4. Take sound sleep for 7-8 hours at night. 5. Avoid standing for too long hours. 6. Do yoga and meditation which helps to relieve mental stress and control emotions. 7. Avoid anxiety, stress and depression. 8. Perform regular exercises. 9. Consume lots of fresh green leafy vegatables, fruits, sprouts, high protein diet, etc. 10. Check your Hb% and BP with your family doctor and take their advise for further management.

I am 52 years old and had a angioplasty in march 2010 and on regular follow up now same doctor has advised for angiography. Further I have cervical spondolysis. Head always remain heavy. Please advise what to do?

Don't worry. Took physiotheraphy for cervical spondylosis. And avoid pillow while lyinig. Use collar for neck frequently. And take tab. Shelcall d3 one a day for a month with the advice of your cardio doc.

Hi take ginger tea mixed with 2-3 crushed garlic cloves. Massaging the chest with warm sesame oil mixed with salt helps to loosen the phlegm deposited in the chest, especially, when followed with steam inhalation.

you are having melena.it could be due to gastric ulcer.get your stool examined for occult blood and consult physician/gastroenterologist.you may have to do upper GI endoscopy

Hi, Please follow these tips to stop snoring: - Reduce your weight if you are obese. - Perform pranayama (breathing exercises) everyday. - Quit smoking which irritates the mucosal layer of the nose and throat and causes blockage and results in snoring. - Quit alcohol and sedatives which relax the throat muscles and results in snoring. - Sleep on sides instead on back. - Elevate the head by using a thick pillow which eases the breathing. - Clear the nose before going to bed. - Establish regular sleep pattern. - Keep the bedroom air moist by using humidifier; as dry air irritates the mucosal membrane in the nose and throat. - Perform throat exercises like repeating the vowels a, e, i, o, you loudly for 2-3 mins few times a day or keeping the tongue behind the teeth and moving it backwards - 3-4 times a day. - Anti snoring appliances can also be used. Aspirin is usually advised as blood thinner.

You can control cholesterol / hdl / ldl/ t.g. By using following flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take . green veg., whole grain foods, spicy foods, Use GARLIC in foods daily ,. Cod liver oil. Low sugar foods, low calories foods. Change own life style . do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily in morning and evening, do any one physically activity daily i.e. play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, alcohol,smoking, fatty foods, non-veg., avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. one important that is take 1 glass of water before bed at night. Because it protect from heart fail during sleep at night. also when going zym you should be take medicine of B.P. at time after meal.

To control & maintain BP normal these are best methods to follow:.• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day. Dear lybrateuser, - At your age chest pain could be due to acidity, anxiety or sedentary habits - avoid spicy, fried, sour & junk food, also do not consume more than 1-2 cups of tea/ coffee per day - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - do regular exercise, play games, do yoga & deep breathing to keep your body fit.

I am 62 years old male having chest burning for the last many months. Use of PAN D type tabs soothes out the burning sensation. But if not taken on daily basis, burning sensation re-appear. Any home remedy available? Does it have any link with HEART ?Pl guide regarding permanent treatment & precautions to be taken. I am NON DIABETIC. My BP remains under check with one tab of S-Amlodipine 2.5.

When dealing with low blood pressure, it is usually suggested to increase your salt and fluid intake. Before increasing your salt consumption, do check with your doctor. Also, cut down on alcoholic beverages and high-carbohydrate foods such as bread, rice, pasta, and potatoes.

Cause of angina pectoris is decreased blood supply to the heart due to arterial compromise, and the causes of coronary arterial problems are very many high cholesterol levels high bp diabetes mellitus family history smoking alcoholism sedentary lifestyle obesity etc. It is very dangerous because it leads to myocardial infarction routinely called as heart attack. Hello doctor! I am 44 yrs. Old female suffering from hypothyroid for the last 5 yrs. Tsh level was 7.4 and I was taking thyronorm 50mcg my periods were still irregular though tsh came down to 2.4 but now since I did not have my periods in last 6 months I went to a homeopath doctor who gave me some medicine and I had periods twice in one month. So I discontinued thyronorm thinking it was the reason of no periods. I skipped it for 2 months. There were no periods in these 2 months. Then I got tsh checked and it went up to 40. Now my doctor has advised me 100mcg of thyronorm. Have taken it for 1 month, still have to get blood test done. No periods yet. Symptoms: low energy level, tired, body pain, depressed, joint pain etc. Please advise thanks

you should be avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Drink more water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. You can take Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Tests every 3 to 6 months.

Pain in chest with cardiac origin is more severe aggravate with exertion and associated with sweat and anxiety. 70 -80 heart beat is normal but if you have family history of heart disease and you doubt some heart disease in you, you should do a through checkup of your heart.
