I am 22 years old and I am feeling suffocation while pain in upper back pain from last 2 days. Also feel vertigo in movement in the morning. It comes after 2 months and sometimes takes 6 months. When I sleep left hand side then I feel good but on others position vertigo comes. This have been from last 7-8 years.

There are many causes of vertigo, one of which may be degeneration in cervical spine but you are too young for that. Actually it will be good for you to meet up with a general physician or an ent surgeon in my opinion to find out a cause of vertigo in you. My grandmother is suffering from severe knee pain and recently diabetes is found so what should be done in such situation many repots and various types of pain reliver oinment as well as pills were used but no such result is obtained.

Knee joint pain is usually due to osteoarthritis, which occurs in most old aged persons due to damage to cartilage in the joint. Pain killers and anti inflammatory drugs do give some relief but it will not be permanent. If diabetes is diagnosed please take care that sugar levels are well controlled by proper treatment. Because uncontrolled diabetes can also contribute joint problems particularly in shoulders.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

Posture correction must. Avoid long sitting toward bending lifting weight. Do hot fermentation and stretching exercise if it work then ok otherwise physiotherapy must.

Kindly show me your all the reports rheumatoid arthritis is a self limiting disease. Acute phase can be managed with medicines. Physiotherapy helps in preventing contractures & deformities. Keep your moral up! any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee & upper limb exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I have a little back pain in right side, after running of 1-2km. It pains for 3-4hours. And after it, I feel relief from it.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hi I am shekhar. Now a days I am getting fatty. Overweight so I am tried to lose my fat and doing exercise and running but during running my both lower legs paining badly so I want to know it is normal or I have to stop running.. please help me give me some suggestions.. You need to lose around 11 kg. Instead of running/ jogging start regular brisk walking/ yoga/ free hand exercises for 40 minutes. Sudden running/ jogging with high weight can damage the soft tissues in your legs causing pain. Drink 3 litres water daily. Avoid junk/ fried/ processed/ packaged/ canned foods/ sweets/ chocolates/ ice creams/ cold drink/ alcohol. Eat small amounts of food every 3 hours instead of few large meals. Have plenty of whole fruits & vegetables in your diet. Prefer steamed foods.

I am always suffering back pain. Mostly in winter I have lots of pain. What to do?

First of all you need proper awareness regarding posture that how to sit, stand and work properly. Secondly check out your mattress which should be little bit firm not so hard or soft. Thirdly take towel then roll it sharply and put at your back (lumbar area) horizontally while lying in supine position for 15 minutes. You can go for hot water fomentation as well for 15 minutes too.

I'm having a sever fever last 3 days what can I do, from last 3 months I'm having knee pain what's the solution to clear, Im having a sever headache.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I am 18 year male lives in hoshangabaad. I have back pain in both the sides of my backbone and back side of my rib cage too from 2 months.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am suffering from back pain since 3 months. Pain subsides on taking diclofenac & recurs back after 7 hours usually. What should I do.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

What exactly is a spine block injection? Will it work long-term for low back pain due to disc problems?

Mr. Lybrate-user we give spinal nerve root blocks when pt. Has shooting pain going to the legs. If it is a disc causing this problem then we can give ozone therapy which helps. But if the disc has herniated or a fragment has broken down and lying on the nerve it needs to be removed surgically.

I have arthritis problem , doctor said me not use steps but my house is in 2nd floor . To withstand this what I have to do? Any natural medicines and physiotherapy to cure it ? Hello lybrate user arthritis in old age especially in weight bearing joints is common. Its disorder of joint. A condition related to joint has not cured totally only prevented. Joints articulated surface became rough and irregular & cartilage torn. We can restore a joint by avoiding some position as squatting, fast climbing stair without support, avoid heavy weight lifting, forward bending position s, etc. Pain and stiffness can reduce by physiotherapy treatment. To provide strength to muscle exercises are advisable under supervision of good qualified physiotherapist only. By using knee brace or support your joint remains stable. In case of severe arthritis suggested by practioner then joints need replacement. But these days replacement surgeries become more comfortable with best results.
