Dear, it is a myth. Bathing itself lowers down the blood pressure and relax the body. So you do not need to drink water after bath to maintain blood pressure.

No it a pain due to gasses in abdomen take following remedies it will be subside 1. Alovera juice 4tsp+ 1 tsp honey after dinner 2. Amal juice 4tsp +2 tsp sugar + 2tsp honey empty stomch in the morning.

It is not good to have heart beat on the higher side like in your case , increase can be due to fear, fight or flight , face the situation and do not run away , do some simple exercises like walking , athletes have heart beats on the lower side. Get BP & Eyesight checked for headache

Hi it may be due to acidity, and less in take of fluids. Start drinking more fluids, lime and cucumber it will help in nullifying the acidity, then head ache will reduc, some time due to increase in eye site head occurs check for power of eye, and may be due to magrian, you try taking more fluids and consult me in private.

Hello lybrate-user, the ideal weight determined by your height and for you falls around 80 we have to understand that losing weight is 80 % diet and 20 % exercise. By all means you have to change your diet and decrease your overall calorie intake to lose weight. A recheck on his diet plan should help. Some general things you should follow to lose weight and control his blood pressure are. 1) try maintaining blood pressure upper under 135 and lower under 85mm hg with lifestyle and medication 2) if overweight, losing weight should be a priority, try achieving bmi less than 25 3) 40-45 mins of aerobic exercise daily 4) be regular with your medication, don't skip doses or stop abruptly. 5) in diet -low salt. Max 3 gms a day. - avoid preserved food as all preservatives have salt. - no pickles, papads, chips, farsan as all have high salt and. - atleast 2 serving of fresh fruits in a day. - 1 serving 35-40 gms of nuts like walnuts, almond to be included - if you take fish 2 serving of fatty fish per will like salmon. -avoid red meat, egg yellow, fried and spicy oily food - may shift to better oils like olive in cooking 6) may consider supplements, like cod fish oil capsules, flax seeds, chia seeds, krill oil as they have good content of omega 3 fatty also losing weight is a slow process, by holistic approach of diet and exercise you will loose weight permanently and so you should encourage him to continue an healthy lifestyle. Do continue medication for hypertension as you are taking and if no, keep a tab on the pressure reading and consider starting one after ruling out other secondary causes of hypertension. Also get you sugars, cholesterol and thyroid checked once. Medication for decreasing weight are not effective and may cause side effects. As you are young you not morbidly overweight you may follow diet and exercise, if still unsuccessful we would consider starting one.

Hello, Your blood pressure should be 120/80 mmhg.You should go for walk and do deep breathing exercise.It will help to reduce blood pressure.Avoid extra salt and non vegetarian diet.

I was smoking marijuana on daily basis. At that time my bp was 115/80. Then I had dengue. I quit it suddenly due to dengue. I did not smoke it from 45 days. Am feeling well now but my bp stays 140/90. So suddenly it increased after quitting marijuana. What can I do to lower my bp and keep it in normal range again? In ayurveda, Hypertension is referred to as Rakta Capa Vriddhi and it sees the vitiation of vata and pitta doshas as the main cause. Mix 1 teaspoon of onion juice with an equal amount of honey. Take once a day for 1 week. Upon noticing improvement, continue for several more days. Take sarpgandha vati twice a day. Yogendra ras. Akik bhasm works very good in case of hypertension. Avoid salty diet. Oily food. Lower your stress. Do pranayama early morning.

Symptoms Of Heart Attack Pain chest or feeling of Tightness or Squeezing in chest Pain radiating to Jaw ,Back or Left arm Shortness of Breath Nausea, Vomiting Sweating Heart Burn and indigestion If the person is unconscious and his pulse and respiration has stopped, you have to do CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Dear lybrateuser, -Heart attack occurs due to blockage of the blood vessels supplying blood to the heart, the blockage occurs due to formation of plaque (fatty deposit) in the lining of the blood vessel, these plaques rupture & then can block a blood vessel -the deposits develop due to unhealthy lifestyle, more unhealthy fats in diet, sedentary lifestyle, diabetes, high cholesterol, familial history, stress, obesity -the first aid is to make the patient lye down, loosen tight clothing, open windows for air circulation, give a tab of aspirin if available to chew , rush the patient to a medical set up with cardiac care unit as soon as possible preferably in a cardiac ambulance.

It's important to be consistent because if you stop exercising, your blood pressure can rise again.-------------------- If you have slightly high blood pressure (prehypertension), exercise can help you avoid developing full-blown hypertension. If you already have hypertension, regular physical activity can bring your blood pressure down to safer levels.--------------------------------- The best types of exercise for lowering blood pressure include walking, jogging, cycling, swimming or dancing. Strength training also can help reduce blood pressure. Talk to your doctor about developing an exercise program.---------------------- 2. Eat a healthy diet--------------------------- Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm Hg. Dear lybrate user, one of the major nutritional substance required for human body is carbohydrate. We take carbohydrate in the form of rice, wheat, sugar etc. The complex molecules of carbohydrate are broken down into simple glucose molecules during digestion & released in the blood stream to be absorbed by the muscle cells. Insulin hormone plays a vital role in the absorption of the glucose molecules by the muscle cells. In abnormal conditions, either due to less production of insulin or due to resistance to insulin, the process of absorption of glucose by the muscles comes to a stand still. The glucose molecules remains in the bloodstream which results in the increase in the blood sugar level. This abnormal condition is clinically known as diabetes mellitus. Once a patient is diagnosed with diabetes he has to take regular medicine to keep his blood sugar level within normal limits. To control or maintan BP normal there are some instructions are given below: •Do not take salt in high amount or try to avoid it because high sodium level increase BP. • Eat less amount of pickle and fast food, fast food contain high sodium. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of coffee and tea both increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Do exercise daily, running and long walk. • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Avoid taking too much fat foods such as butter, cheese, ghee. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. Eat an apple daily.
