First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket.
And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only.
This will definitely help you.
* gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief.
* surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do.
* in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Dear lybrate-user,
elbow stiffness is a common problem following elbow surgeries. Sometimes the implant could be blocking movements. However most of the times stiffness is due to scar tissue formation in and around the joint, or sometimes due to excessive new bone formation (myositis ossificans).
After permission from your primary surgeon, get a consultation from a sports or arthroscopy surgeon. Sports surgeons would be able to assess if the movements can be improved non-surgically or through key-hole surgery/ arthroscopy. Subsequently with continuation of exercises you would be able to maintain near complete movements in your elbow.
Hope that helps.
Let me know if I could be of further help.

Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).
