Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. You can put medeal arch support inside your shoes. Do calf muscle streching. Put weight on your lateral side of foot always. Try to put your feet on inward position when you walk. Don't lock your knee when you standing.(hyperextension)

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps.

It might be because of your work but you need to go for diagnosis first. As for your posture you need to sit straight on chair, your leg should not hang, adjust hight of chair and your work table level should be correct with respect to your eyes.

Apply ice packs, keep leg elevated and apply crepe bandage. If pain reduces in few hrs, then ok, orelse consult an orthopaedician.

It may be slight ligament injury. Oil massage in the morning after that washing with warm water may be beneficial. If problem persist you can consult to me further.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Let the fever go totally and your knee pain should also go but if pain persist than can take tablet paracetamol eight hourly afterwards and get an xray done

Hello lybrate user Your back pain arises at particular positions as you have mentioned. according to my suggestion you must wear contoured lumbosacral belt while bike riding and in gym you can do cardio program instead of abs crunches, etc. firstly take proper treatment of back pain relief by qualified physio follow by some stretching & relaxing back exercises. once pain relief then do strength improving exercises. secondly you will able to do gym exercises.

I have been having pain in my left hip area and also my left abdomen side extending to the lower left back. Sometime the pain extends till left bladder as well. I suspect the kidneys are in some sort of discomfort. Please advise.

Hi, I just got to know my ldl is 152 and overall cholesterol is 209. I have started exercising past one month. Do I need to take medication or lifestyle changes and avoiding red meat and fatty food will lower it down. The level was 219 exactly one month back it has lowered but I want it optimum. Physical activity will help to reduce the cholesterol. Try not to eat fried foods, change the oil if in case your oil has too much cholesterol ingredients, take fresh juices, fruits, and eat more antioxidants.

If there was no trauma or injury to the back, and also if you didn't lift any heavy weight and the pain started, then it could be due to posture related or mechanical backache. You can use a hot water bag in your back for 10-15 min and then apply some ointment like nice gel. Eventually you need to strengthen your back muscles by exercising (simple exercises) like pelvic lifting, static back etc, also some of the yoga asanas are also good for back like bhujangasan etc.

I have pain in the heel of left foot since 4 months. My uric acid is 6.0. When I walk then no problem of pain. But when I sit for more time or in the morning when I woke up then pain starts. I always go for morning walk. Then pain is not there.

Hi apply heat pack or cool pack to your heel and use silicon pad for your feet it will get rid of everything with pain.

Hi if shoulder pain while doing movement please check diabetes and take physiotherapy treatment it's very effective your condition called as peri arthritis of shoulder.
