For weight loss you should be avoiding all packed and market foods, take less cooked food, avoiding all kinds of stuff having white sugar, reduce intake of milk and milk products, increase intake of fruits, raw vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouts. All the best.

Sir I am a 48 year old male diagnosed with thyroid, bp and cholesterol pb. I am taking medicines forte same namely thyronorm 50 mg, cilicard T, and roseday 5 mg. Recently when I was on my summervacation I developed stomach pb and it also came down when I took ornidazole ofloacin. But during sunday worship I developed fatigueness and profuse sweating. I went to thiner by hospital and they my ecg and found it has variation. What is the normal procedure in this kind of set up I should follow?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Looking at your weight and height, it is clear that you are over weight, almost having grade 1 obesity with a BMI of 29.56 kgs/M2. This it self can be a major culprit for most of the problems. You have mentioned about taking thyroxine 50 mcg, but no other drug details are given. Also there is no mention about present or recent TSH value, BP reading and lipid values. Plus with recent episode as described, it is necessary for you to under go a detailed heart check up, an echo cardiogram and angiegraphy also. That will give a clear idea about what may be the cause of recent episode. Thanks.

Hello physiotherapy is the best treatment for this condition. Please send me all investigation reports if available. I can help you by providing correct ergonomic and physiotherapeutic tips. Till then you can follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting, cross leg sitting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. Thanks. Wish you happy and pain free life.

To treat the white spots- * apply coconut or mustard oil on th effected parts once a day specially in the evening. * crush 15-20 leaves of neem and put them in a bucket of luke warm water for 15 minutes & take bath with this water. * take a glass of milk added with a teaspoon of protien powder once a day. * sit for atleast 5-8 minutes in sun in the morning or evening. * apply the paste of aloe vera & turmeric powder on the effected parts of body 2 times a week for 15-20 minutes.

For a healthy body Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don’t apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit
