This back pain is due to no back exercise. Due to this muscle get stiff. When suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start. In ayurved there is mentioned one procedure kati basti. Do this for five days with medicated oil if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation. So consult ayurvedic doctor near you. You will definitely get good result.

Rest. Take a break from your normal activities. Ice. Place an ice pack or bag of frozen peas on the sore area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day. Compression. Use a compression bandage to reduce swelling. Elevation. Elevate your foot to help reduce swelling.

Pain leg is common. Kindly rule out diabetes & vitamin d deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Proper physiotherapy will help. Medicines will also be needed. I have osteo arthritis and knee problem. I was taking calcium with d3 and was told by doctor not to sit on the floor and everything was going fine for a year. But due to some reason I sat on floor for 2 hours. For something and now the back of my left knee is in pain for 7-10 days and is not taking my weight. What can I do so that I can continue doing my daily activities in a normal way. I am female 56 years of age. Thanks.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I have knee pain when I was walking on the stairs , i'm not able to walk fast on the stairs .if I walk upto 10/15 steps I got pain and I would have to stop walk or stay fro 2 mins and then to continue for walk.

Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Wall calf stretch Stand about two feet away from a wall. Place the ball of your right foot against the wall while your heel remains on the ground. Slowly and gently lean into the wall while keeping your knee straight. Hold this for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation.

It is because of compression of blood vessels which could be cause of muscle tightness. You can try to stretch the tight muscles, if that helps. But I guess you would need medical assistance.

Hello, certain. Specific symptoms are to b clarified such as # pain is better on movement or, rest. # pain travels down to toe or surge-up ward to hip. * take homoeo-medicine (pill no -40) @ rhus tox 200- 6 pills, thrice a day. @ ledum pal 200-6 piolls, thrice a day. Take care.

Hello lybrate user, - if it is not relieving with relaxants better to take some investigation to see the involvement of bone or disc - looking at the report we can advice you better - for now to relive that pain you can use some medicated oils like sahacharadi taila apply to the back and take hot fomentation for 15 min daily, this makes you feel better. With out proper examination it's difficult. Still pain means something wrong, if it unites wrong then might be pain due to compression of some structure. Consult Orthopedic. For time being do warm foamentation.

1.. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2.. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3.. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4.. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5.. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling. 6. Do walk daily.
