Hi,
Any natural method for loosing the weight. Without any dieting and all, is it possible to loose the weight.
Cut down soda & junk food to a huge minimal. -drink 1/2 to 1 gallon of water daily. Drink 2 glasses of water before a meal to curb your appetite. -eat lots of fresh veggies & fruits -take the stairs when you can. -heavy deep breathing. -b 12 vitamins help promote weight loss I also took a fat burning supplement called simerex-ex with ephedra extract. A lot of people are against'diet pills, however this supplement helped me to lose weight, gain energy, & help with regular bowel movements. There is no miracle cure. Losing weight takes discipline & hard work. It doesn't have to be torture though!

Single fruit diet- 1. Take one fruit diet, only banana, for 2weeks. You can eat as many ripe bananas as you wish but you don't have to take anything else in diet. Weight Loss - When It Is Must That You Consider Surgery?

Weight Loss - When It Is Must That You Consider Surgery?

Is it a Must That You Consider Bariatric Surgery?

Weight loss can be achieved through various means, such as behavior therapy, diet and exercise programs, drugs, etc. However, research has proven that once you are obese then the chances of you either losing substantial weight or managing to keep it off long-term is less than 1%. Hence most obese people yo-yo and almost always regain more weight than they started off with on the rebound with non-surgical therapies. Most drugs for weight loss have been banned in the long term because of side effects.

Cosmetic surgical options like liposuction and tummy tuck or abdominoplasty are again not really weight loss procedures but rather body contouring prospering to give a better shape and cannot achieve long-term weight loss.

Bariatric Surgery today remains the best solution for long-term weight loss for those with morbid obesity.

So when you are you’re extremely obese and have a body mass index (BMI) of 37.5 kg/m2 or more. (BMI or body mass index is a ratio of your weight (kg) / height (m2) ), or your BMI is above 32.5 kg/m2 along with associated health problems like Type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea (a common sleep disorder wherein you snore excessively and experience pauses in breathing or shallow breathing instances while sleeping), high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, osteoarthritis or severe joint pains and have failed to achieve significant weight loss with conservative methods then you are a candidate for Bariatric Surgery.

Weight loss through surgery shouldn’t be looked upon as a shortcut to losing weight. It is a powerful tool to aid you to become healthier, but remember, "with great power comes greater responsibility", because after the surgery you’ll be required to make some lifelong changes to your eating and lifestyle habits to ensure a long, healthy and satisfying life.

Remember this is your second chance at life don’t waste it.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Hi lybrate-user tips for weight loss eat fresh vegetables daily. Avoid having sugar completely. Eat whole wheat bread instead of white bread; avoid everything made from white flour and make whole wheat bread, chapattis and brown rice a way of life. Do not skip a meal and eat three meals a day. Drink plenty of water to eliminate the toxins from the system. Limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day. Increase the fiber intake as it provides a sense of fullness and also prevents hunger pangs. Take antioxidants for protecting the body against the toxins released during weight loss. Exercise catalyzes your efforts to lose weight and even regular walking for thirty minutes can give you the benefits of an aerobics exercise. To improve the metabolism, try increasing the duration, frequency, intensity of your daily workout. Remember that maintaining the ideal weight is a lifetime commitment and not a short-term affair. Firmly believe that the pleasure of being trim and healthy is far better than the pleasure of eating unwisely.

Sir I was a very good athlete about 4 years ago. But since I joined college I stopped doing work out or running not even a little workout. Hence I became fat and I gained around 13 kgs of weight. I started liking really fat. As soon as I realized, I started doing the very intense workout again like playing basketball everyday for more than 2 hours continuously and running for 25 mins separately. But I'm unable to ignore junk food as a result in the beginning I lost approx. 6 kgs in last 2 months and started liking fit again. But still I'm not satisfied as there is still a lot of skin is hanging around my waist and it is not vanishing. I'm trying really hard but seriously I'm unable to stop the junk food as there is no other source of food left for me except eating that junk food only. Now it's been around 5months but my fatty skin is still right there I want to remove that completely as it used to be 4 years before. Please suggest me some tips to remove side fat.

Hello lybrate-user, Very good that you realised whats wrong and you started working on it, perhaps this is one of the reason for which we should never give up on our hobbies (specially the sports). Anyways, as per my understanding, your body needs to be toned. Join gym, or else as you say you have once been an athlete, so I believe you know what are the body toning exercises. Also, you need to do stretching exercises as well for full body toning. Now, all these sports activities, body toning exercises & stretching will not be fruitful if you continue to have junk foods, as you are now, as per your question. To avoid junk foods, try some tricks like, when you are out and your only option is to eat food out, then make wise choises. Go for soy milk shake in place of ice creams or cold coffee, try having sandwiches or subs with baked or BBQ chicken and without cheese, then after a week or so you can go for salads in place of sandwiches and subs. Then in place of cold drinks you can always have fresh fruit juices and/or vegetable juices and smoothies. Even if you eat out as for dinner or lunch, try to stick on to rice and/or chapati thali, dosa, appam, pulav, roti sabji and/or if biryani then only biryani. You can have milk and banana shakes (since you play basket ball). For now try this, I hope this will be helpful to you. Thank you. Have a nice day!

What should I do for loosing weight without much exercise
Cos I had my c section4 months back.
1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. 4. If you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. 5. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 6. Do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 7. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water.
