Sir I am working at high temperature in plant area so that it's creates my body weak so how can I manage it.
Keep good hydration (drink lots of fluids) and wear cotton cloths which can be comfortable for your skin to breathe. Still if the temperature does not suit you in the long run then think of an alternative job.

What is the benefits of eating almond. How to take almond. How to increase immunity power.

What is the benefits of eating almond. How to take almond. How to increase immunity power.
Hello, We have been hearing since a long time from our elders. To eat almonds as they are good for our brain. Yes, almonds are full of nutrients, fat, protein, fibre. They have antioxidants too. It is one of the best source of Vit. E. Being high in magnesium it is good for diabetics and blood pressure patients as they lower the cholesterol levels. For people who are trying to lose weight, it is a good snack. Since it is low on carbs and high in fibre and protein, it keeps you full for a longer period. Soaked and peeled almonds have more nutrients as compared to raw ones. Soaking activates their enzymes. But you can at times have raw almonds also which help to clean our digestive tract and feed good bacteria in our colon. Vit. C is a good source to increase your immunity. Have citrus fruits, amla. You can also have eggs, sea food, meat, nuts, oats.

From last few weeks I feel very weakness in my health so what can I do for my better health?

M.Sc - Dietitics / Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
He needs to take a balanced diet OATMEAL Oatmeal is an energy packed food that provides constant energy for hours. Oatmeal is an unprocessed, complex carbohydrate that your body digests slowly. Slow digestion keeps blood sugar at optimal levels and helps avoid the crash that typically comes with faster burning carbs. A bowl of oatmeal in the morning will keep you going strong through your day. SWEET POTATOES Sweet potatoes are hypoallergenic and the preferred source of post-workout carbohydrates for many athletes and bodybuilder who want to keep their energy stores up and body fat down. Starchy carbs like sweet potatoes eaten after a workout, act as a catalyst for protein to enter muscle tissue and begin the repair/rebuild process. Steam or bake a small or medium sweet potato to eat after your next workout. BANANA Banana has a combination of fiber and natural fruit sugars. Having a banana gives you instant energy and increases your stamina in a long run. For best results, eat them 20 minutes before you need a lot of energy. GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES They are packed with micronutrients. It is essential for building stamina and also to improve your RBC count. Green leafy veggies are rich in fibre and digest slowly while maintaining your blood-glucose level. EGGS Eggs, especially if both yolk and white are consumed, can be an excellent whole-food choice to provide micronutrients and protein. Eat a few boiled eggs within a 30-minute after your workout to see uptake in your stamina. SALMON Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and they have many health benefits like helping in burning fat, improving cardiovascular health, improving the body’s immune system, providing relief from pain and inflammation and helping in muscle maintenance. WALNUTS Are you a non-fish eater? Walnuts are another way of getting heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Grab a handful of walnuts before heading outdoors. COFFEE A cup of coffee before exercise will have a noticeable effect on stamina because of its caffeine content. Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system, which explains why so many people worldwide start their day with a cup of coffee. BEET JUICE This is one drink, which is loaded with energy and can help boost your stamina level tremendously. If you exercise after consuming beet juice, you will be able to exercise for longer durations because it is loaded with vitamins A, C and lots of mineral. SKIM MILK With its balance of fast-acting carbohydrates and proteins, skim milk is the ideal post-exercise muscle recovery food. COCONUT WATER Coconut water is considered as the best natural energy drink. Consume coconut water before and during workout because you get beneficial minerals in the less volume of liquid. WHEY PROTEIN Whey contains all the nine amino acids necessary for human dietary needs. They are generally “grab and go”, an easy and convenient source of high-quality protein. Proper protein timing is essential for maximizing muscle gains. Whey provides you with the ability to have a fast digesting protein meal whenever you need it. If you imagine your body as a car, then food would be the fuel. To get optimal performance out of either a car or out of your body, you need to make sure that you are providing the highest quality fuel you can. For stamina above all this foods Drink plenty of water.

Hello sir, my age 20years & weight 53 I wanna gain my weight & body skin, I eat enough but not get good results, pls ...
Hi lybrate-user 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Related tip: the most powerful way to put on weight - snacking right.

To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects

Hi I am a 27 year old male. Can you please suggest a knee friendly 20 minute cardio workout to boost my metabolism, keep the heart rate up and reduce lower body fat to do at home.(I don't want to go out and jog or run or walk) I tried yoga sun salutations, which requires forward bends and other complex poses which if not done properly injure my back severely. I also looked at rope skipping, but I have learn that over the long run these full body jump workouts put a lot of strain on knees which damage cartilage and gums. And hence can you please suggest a knee safe workout to boost my metabolism. I want to stick to your choice of cardio as an experienced doctor for my lifetime. Thanks in advance.

Diploma in Diet and Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Delhi
If you have any knee problem, then the best form of workout will be walk only for you, that too at a moderate pace. Neither brisk walk nor too slow. Rest all exercises would some how or the other put pressure on your knees. If you don't want to go out, walk on treadmill for 20 minutes at maximum speed of 6.5. Besides this, you can maybe indulge into light aerobics exercise under guidance.

Hello doctor I am 32 year old and recently I have join GYM. Doctor please let me know which supplement is better for ...
Please remember that many of fitness programs of gyms are monetarily motivated and thus not necessarily healthy but can do harm as stomach problems, or weakness. So best is to make natural foods like vegetables, fruits and cow's milk as your daily habits instead of artificial supplements of gyms. Personally I also strongly suggest you to avoid non-vegetarian foods which are scientifically proved not natural on human body but do greater harm than good in the long run.
