Tip- I will suggest you to take a shower with warm water or just wash your face, forearms, legs with soap and water at bedtime for a peaceful sleep.

I cannot get sleep now a days. Since last two three days I am awake. Not even a single hour I have slept. I do not know what is happening. Is this insomnia? Sometimes I think that it happens because I do not get tired. But then I realised that even after I do hell lot of work the whole day, I do not get sleep. Please suggest some remedy for this.

1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10. Don’t sleep in day time 11. Don’t take sleeping pill

Dear the fractures unite in about 3-4 months, while the plaster is given for only few weeks, so have patience, do hot fomentation, apply some local pain killer gel/balm and support the hand with an elastic bandage, do exercises as advised by your dr./ physio. And take a pain killer sos i. E. Only if your pain is too much. I am sure you settle in a week or so. Take care.

It is of muscle fatigue and do proper stretches before jogging and after jogging cooling down exercises has to be done best wishes.

Hello Mr. Lybrate-user, heel pain and your symptoms point towards possibility of heel spur (medically known as a calcaneal spur) treatment includes use of soft soles, warm water fomentation twice daily. And better to get calcium vitamin d 3 blood tests done.

I have pain in my left shoulder. When I sleep with that side   I feel uncomfortable in my left hand  and arm.
Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Stop taking regularly caffeine. It isn't good for health. And start doing meditation and yoga. These are the best treatment for stress.

I am not able to control masturbations. I am doing it constantly, at least 3 times a day. Without doing it I don't get proper sleep. Tough I don't feel like masturbation, I watch porn n do it. Cannot control, please suggest me what to do. There is slight pain in my balls.

1. Stay busy and focused by engaging in activities like playing games/sports, learning music/painting etc. 2. Find new hobby like cooking, gardening, writing, public speaking 3. Eat healthy diet 4. Volunteer your time by doing social work like tutoring needy children/ working at shelter home and rendering free service, raising money for a good cause 5. Avoid loneliness, socialise with friends/relatives 6. Stop watching porn in computer/moble 7. Develop will power, determination to stop practicing 8. Don't have guilty consciousness since it is normal and a healthy way of relieving sexual tension if done in moderation (1-2 times/week) 9. Get adequate sleep (7-8hours daily) 10. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits and have balanced diet. Avoid oily/spicy/fried/junk food. Try to have vegetarian food. Observe fasting for 1-2 days in a week 11. Avoid alcohol/smoking 12. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily) 11. Go for regular aerobic exercise for one hour daily like brisk walking/jogging/running/cycling/swiing 12. Do yoga, pranayam, meditation to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hello! Get a Xray done of the painful ankle first. There are many reasons for ankle pain. In general cases, it could be because of weight of the patient, prolonged standing ,weak joint or muscle weakness. Take the Xray report to a Physiotherapist and start with the relative treatment. Medications will give you just temporary relief and so, better to avoid frequent use of them. Choose a footwear which is soft and v comfortable in wearing. A heel sole will provide good relief. Avoid prolonged standing and prolonged walking.

Hey I am 20 years old male and a 2nd year b. Com student. It is now 3 weeks I have done with my exams and all but I am not able to sleep properly neither I feel any sort of weakness. Not into drugs or smoking or drinking. I dont even consume tea or coffee. I tried to drain out my energy by swimming and playing other sports, but still no effect. I sleep around at 3 or 3. 30 am and I wake up at 7. I am very worried. What can be done? ;; (( I am not suffering from any kind of stress because I have passed in my exams )

Stop worrying, be positive in all aspects. Take bath twice in a day morning and evening, do exercise daily, meditation and chanting mantras. 1- almond oil massage of scalp-head daily at bed time 2- capsule stresscom- dabur 500 mg twice in a day with water 3- sarasvatarishta 15 ml after food twice with water 4 - khaskhas seeds-- khakra 100 gm + jayfal-nutmeg one, make powder, add 6-7 gm in 200 ml of milk + water 100 may add some sugar boil for 10-12 minutes and consume at night before bed report after three weeks continue for 2-3 months and report.

You maybe suffering from allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis. You need to avoid the cause of your allergies and also take anti allergy medications. Please consult for prescription. If you have an infection and have fever you will need to do a course of antibiotics. For now do warm saline gargle and steam inhalation 3 times a day.

Use cervical pillow. Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation.

Quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretchingtowel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated hamstring stretch while sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds repeat 3 times for each leg.
