You need consultation of Psychiatrist for instability of your mind. Do exercise and meditation. Leave so-called fast-life if you are adhered to. Freedom is good but undisciplined and immoral life style is bad. To days' young generation take the second as freedom. So they get ruined. Adhere to your parents and follow their advice, if not, from some well educated ethical person who has good moral and ethical sense of life. Focus on study i.e. building your life. learn and follow what is good in life. Never indulge persons who draw you backwards. They can't be your friends. At this age at least you must developed that sense of good and bad.

Hi one of the simplest and most effective ways to induce sleep is to rub some oil on the scalp and the soles of the feet before going to bed. Use sesame oil, brahmi oil, jasmine oil, or coconut oil and massage gently for a few minutes. Slightly warming the oil before applying is helpful. Put 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep.

Hi thanks for your query. I need to know the elaborate history from you so that I can understand cause of pain, duration of joint pains and any associated symptoms like stiffness which you have stated that you are having. There is a workup for polyarthralgia ( multiple joint pains ) which needs to be done if history and clinical examination point to it. At this age I would like you to get some tests like cbc, esr and crp levels done. Also ra factor, anti ccp needs to be done. I also need hla b27 levels, serum calcium, vitamin d levels done do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance or when you get reports of these blood tests. Good sleep is necessary for a healthy body and an active mind, hence, following the tips may help you over come the problem of sleeplessness. In your case, it seems to be a sleep onset type of insomnia, in which the patient has difficulty in going for sleep even after lying in bed for quite some time. 1. Dinner should be a lighter meal 2. Maintain a time gap between dinner and going to bed 3. Do not take caffeine containing beverages (tea, coffee) after evenings 4. Do not exercise immediately before going to bed 5. Same time to go to bed for sleep should be fixed for daily 6. Do not engage is activities seeking high mental concentration immediately before going to bed or when in bed. 7. Taking a shower before getting to bed may help 8. Reading a book/novel before sleeping may induce sleep sometimes 9. The sleeping area/ambiance/bed should be comfortable 10. There should be no noise and darkness in bedroom while going for sleep.

I have taken alprax from last two nights and still I was not able to sleep, I wish to know that I hope I am not in depression but it is true that I am not able to face reality in life and I am loosing my will each day to fight against struggles which I am going through.

Dear lybrate user, loosing sleep for 2 nights does not mean you are depressed. Please avoid self medication, it is harmful. You are definable under lot of stress. Your mind is disturbed. Sometimes, it can be very difficult to face the realities of life. Acceptance is not easy. But please remember that life is full of challenges and the situations in life keep changing. So even if you are going through hard time in your life right now, this will change. You need to understand what exactly is bothering you and what are your options. Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Can be solved through acupressure/ acupuncture easily. Try this for 3 days. Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.
