I did not get full night sleep due to many things going in my mind at morning I had a severe headache.

1. Avoid caffeine found in coffee, tea, chocolate, cola, and some pain relievers.[four to six hours before bedtime.] 2. Quiet, dark, and cool environment can help promote sound sleep. [use heavy curtains, or an eye mask to block light, and also keeping computers, tvs, and other work materials out of the room will help promote mental bonding between your bedroom and sleep] 3. Avoid stressful, stimulating activities like doing work, discussing emotional issues. Physically and psychologically stressful activities can cause the body to secrete the stress hormone cortisol, which is associated with increasing alertness.

Dear u need to take proper treatment to increase ur digestive power. Herbal medicines can do it so without any side effects, try the tips:: 1. For increasing weight ...First we have to work on ur digestive system..It will do Aam pachan and will increase ur digestive power and appetite.... 2. Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.. 3. Take small meals 4-5 times a day.. 4. Eat healthy n light food .. 5. Drink plenty of fluids.. 6. Avoid constipation...and take 1 tsf triphala churna at night with luke warm water. 7. Walk 1km daily in evening... 8 .Follow up after a week then will star ur medication for weight gain.

I have read in one of the post/question on Lybrate that use of Lemon Honey daily on an empty stomach is useful for losing weight and many others. I Want to know that how much warm water I use for it. Light warm is enough or I may use boiled water for it. For one glass one lemon and one Teaspoon of Honey is enough. Please guide me in this regard.

Hi Lemon Honey formula for weight loss - is just a myth... just like weight reduction pills and weight reduction belts. Such myths continue to spread because it gives a 'magical' solution to a complex problem. It seems like a nice convenient short cut which reduces all the efforts involved in running or gymming or diet etc. However it is not true. You have to realise that there is no instant solution available to this problem of weight. Actually weight is not the problem. Weight is the net result of overeating and under exercising. So we have to find solutions for over eating and under exercising. Once we aim for fitness and healthly eating, the weight will dissapear. You will feel lighter better, fitter, more confident. Go for natural solutions. Go for long term solutions. That will help you to live well and live healthy.

I am a lean man if I look my chest and hands. But my ass and belly are too fat. How to change it to get good body shape.

Although you have a just normal weight according to your height but for reducing your buttock and belly fat you have 2 options- 1.Daily Brisk cycling for 60 minutes at a speed of Apprx.18 Km/Hr 2.Join a Gym and do the following for one hour.20 minutes Tread Mill,20 minutes Cross Trainer and 20 minutes cycling. According to me both your hips nd belly will come to shape in 2 months.

It is actually a two edged sword" rumination of negative thoughts in mind" leading to" insomnia" and vice versa. This is usually a part if anxiety disorders caused due to unmanaged stress and other problems. You should consult a psychiatrist with exact and complete details of your problems for some goal oriented counselling, behaviour therapies and medications if required for insomnia.

I am 20 year old male, my personalty is very thin. My hight is 6 feet and weight is 53 kg. I have tried so many products for weight gaining but there was no effect on me. So what I do now?

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is WHEY protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

I am 22 years old Male. I have been smoking from since 7 years cigarettes and marijuana even I take alcohol. Now am initialized to quit all those habits but still I get pain at my chest and hollow sound comes when I cough. Abdominal pain at upper right side, gastric acidity, impotency problem and even ears and jaws are felt heavily. What to do sir? I do yoga but I think it is not enough.

You can join a gym and exercise a bit more intensely. Or join a running / jogging club and build your running stamina. You are young, your body will recover slowly. Just have faith in yourself. Don't give up. Keep doing the right things. Everything will be fine.

Exfoliate your skin at least twice a week. This will help to remove the dead cells and open pores, thus lightening your skin tone. Always use sunscreen 20 minutes before stepping out from home. I am suffering from tinea infection. And now they have been red spot. I use many ointment tubes. Which removes red spot and I feels easy, but just in 4 or 5 days. I face this problem again. I have been wasted many months and money on many medicine and doctors. Please help me. And suggest me what should I do?

1. Apply panderm plus ointment twice daily for (1-2 week) 2. Take one tablet of levocetrizine (5 mg) at bed time if itching is severe 3.Thoroughly dry the area after taking bath and keep it dry and sweat free. Apply candid powder in the affected area 4.Use loose cotton under wear instead of tight synthetic one 5. Change the under wear daily and use clean and washed one 6.Maintain personal hygiene 7.consult skin specialist for further advice.

Sir, when you have persistent pain in the knees like this which hinders your daily lifestyle I suggest you may be suffering with an arthritic issue. I am 60 yrs old male with good health and physique. Recently in the blood test the thyroid results are as follows: TOTAL TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T3) C. L. I. A 119 ng/dl 60 - 200 TOTAL THYROXINE (T4) C. L. I. A 9 μg/dl 4.5 - 12.0 THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE (TSH) C. L. I. A 7.24 μIU/ml 0.30 - 5.5. The TSH is more. Is it serious and any remedies please. And I have some warps in my face and shoulder. I am a 19 year old boy and I am unable to sleep properly for the last many days. What should I do!

Relax your mind. Don't be too anxious. Have your dinner 2hrs before you go to bed and drink a glass of milk at bed time. Read some books while you are on bed or listen to music. Do not work on the computer on the bed or play with your mobile at bed time. You can even have a hot water bath before going to bed.

My Throat feels very dry at night. When I am sleeping I just get up after 2-3 hours to drink water. Before going to sleep I drink milk.

Your condition may be gerd. Plase stop drinking milk before going to sleep. Donot drink liquids before going to sleep. Avoid liquid diet in the dinner maintain a gap of atleast 2 hours between dinner and sleep time. Avoid spicy food.
