Probably you r suffering from somatoform pain disorder. Check your serum vitamin d3 level. Consult a good psychiatrist. Hopefully he/she can help u.

6 Best Ways Shoulder Pain Can Be Managed?

The hand movement is to a large extent controlled by the shoulder. It is a ball and socket setup where the shoulder bone has a socket, into which the upper arm bone fits in like a ball. Due to excessive movement or repetitive strain, the shoulder can be subjected to a lot of strain and stress. Shoulder pain is one of the most common symptoms, especially in sportspersons who use the hands repeatedly, like swimmers, basketball players, volleyball players, etc.

The pain in the shoulder could be due to various conditions, such as:

  1. Dislocation: Due to repetitive movements, the shoulder can get dislocated and cause pain. This could be an acute injury or due to repeated instability.
  2. Rotator cuff tear: The point of rotation for the shoulder joint can suffer a tear, leading to rotator cuff tear, which is a very common cause of shoulder pain.
  3. Labral tear: The ligament which connects to the upper arm bone to the shoulder socket can tear up, again leading to pain.
  4. Tendinitis: There could be calcium deposits within the tendon space, which also can cause shoulder pain. The severity depends on the extent of calcification.
  5. Arthritis: Due to old age or due to regular wear and tear, there could be arthritis of the shoulder joint, leading to pain. This could be worse at night.
  6. Frozen shoulder: In addition to limited movement, there is also shoulder pain with frozen shoulder.

Depending on the cause, the shoulder pain intensity can vary, the duration can vary, it can be at night or day, can be intermittent or constant. In addition to pain, there could also be:

  1. Inability to lift hand above the shoulder
  2. Inability to carry objects
  3. Swelling of the shoulder along with stiffness
  4. Deformity of the joint

Shoulder pain can be very limiting and needs to be managed. From minimally invasive to surgical options, the following are some options.

  1. Rest: For the pain to subside, the inflammation should subside and so rest is the first line of therapy.
  2. Ice/Heat: Icing the shoulder for 10 to 15 minutes every 4 to 6 hours is a great way to remove the inflammation and provide relief from pain. This can be alternated with a heated pad if one gets relief.
  3. Massage: Massage with herbal or pain oils is another effective way to manage pain. The herbal oils soak into the skin and provide relief from the pain.
  4. Exercise: Exercises to improve shoulder joint strength prove to be really effective but should only be done under supervision.
  5. Anti-inflammatory medications: Care should be taken they are not used long term, to avoid other effects.
  6. Cortisone injections: Given into the shoulder joint, these injections help reduce inflammation.

Hii. I have bucket handle tear in medial meniscus. As in mri scan doctor told it is totally teared and need to go for surgery. Is there any way to avoid surgery?

I had back pain while walking in CT scanning report is saying minimal displacement of talus what is it? What is recovering period of this? I had. Gone under treatment since 3 months what is the way to get rid off please suggest me.

Smoking has deconditioned you. Your lungs have weakened and so poor oxygenation and thereby fatigue. Best option .quit.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Because of stress you are taking additional food. Because of no job. You become very lazy and additional rest due to this reason. You are getting more weight. That is ignorantly you forgotten. Your mind is also not active in these days. Always thinking about job. Lack of opportunities. You become very lazy. No problem now you find out the problem. Try jobs better to walk most of the time. Take less food. Practice yoga it will give mental peace. Try and try until you get the job. Search jobs online ready to take any risk of the job. Better to enquire yourself directly go to the office. If they rejected do not worry. Take another chance. You will get the job. Better to practice running also morning time. Your weight is reduced and your both the problems solved. Patientience is important in this time. Wait for the right time. You will succeeded. Best of luck.
