Echo tells about % age of heart functions and lipids are responsible for causing heart attacks by blocking the blood supply, good to know that both reports are normal, there is electrical circuit in our hearts that sends signals to beat regularly, if the signals are weak due to any reason, may be a pacemaker is needed to regularize the heart beat (very important as both, fast or too slow are danger signs leading to sudden stoppage of heart beat) get thoroughly checked again and treated accordingly.

Hello doctor, my had gone through a angiogram test and found that he is having 2 block. One is 75% and one is 50%. He is 52 year old. He is not a smoker or alcoholic. He workout regularly and eat healthy food. After his angiogram test the cardiologist says that these block cannot be removed through angioplasty procedure, because it won't be successful. The doctor is suggesting a bypass surgery. My question is do we need to consult another doctor? Also is there any other possible way to get rid of these blocks? Does ayurveda works? (he is a chronic diabetic patient, also he is taking insulin injection once in a day). Doctor please help us out.

Take a second opinion, if you are in doubt. The procedure will depend upon the angiography reports /cd. Yes, for a diabetic patient a bypass procedure is recommended, but it would be better left to the treating doctor to decide whether to put stent or do bypass.

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain.garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .
