Hello. He has suffered through an infection, thus the body will be in a great demand of nutrients. If not supplemented enough from food, the body will utilizes the stores, that is muscle, thus the weight loss. Because of which there are all the irregular complications that he faces. I would advise you to give him electrol water which will help him maintain his blood pressure. Have coconut water. Provide, high protein foods, like eggs, ,milk and milk products, other animal food sources. Try to keep him as calm as possible, which will help aid the fluctuation of bp and blood sugar levels. Try indulging in activities like yoga, breathing exercises, which will make his lung more stronger and relieve stress.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I am a 24 year old male. I recently pulled a hamstring (or tore it, I am not sure) while playing football. Its been 4 weeks now and I have been doing the usual movement exercise instructed by my physician. I have been taking a calcium tablet also. But It seems like not working as the pain keeps on coming back and I am still walking with a limp. Anything I can do to recover quickly?

Tk muscle relaxant medicine do rest tk ultrasonic therapy for 10 days for 15 minutes regularly avoid walk and strain and avoid all exercise at that time best for you.

I'm feel unhealthy over the last few days and I'm saying it because I feel that I'm not taking a fair enough diet (very less proteins, average fruits & vegetables). Currently I'm suffering from Sciatic nerve pain and I was advised to do Strengthening exercises. However, I'm really concerned about other lack of nutrients. Hello you need not worry. No need of getting tests done as such. Try to take healthy meals. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Avoid fried foods, sweets, carbonated drinks and processed foods. Include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits and vegetables, salads, milk and milk products. Drink plenty of water. Snack on fruits and nuts. Take flaxseed powder 1 tsp with lukewarm water on empty stomach for a week. Thank you.

Hello first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person.So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treament. In the mean time take Arnica 200, 3 drops in the morning and Rhus tox. 200, 3 drops at night for 7 days.Take care.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello lybrate user massage with mahanarayana oil daily morning to control the pain and restricted movement of knee. 2 tab of yogaraja gugggulu 2tms a day. Apply dashang lepa once in a day. Practice muscle stretching exercises regularly.

Mam you should do shoulder mobility exercises. And must take physiotherapy sessions otherwise the pain and movement of shoulder will worsen.
