1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2. Apply volini gel twice daily 3. Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest if you have recurrent attack of neck pain a) take x ray/mri cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b) sometimes it could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) do physio therapy and neck exercise.

Hi" it is important to keep in mind that there are many forms of arthritis, and a specific diagnosis of the type you have may help to direct the proper treatment. Hello lybrate-user, please do the following things for 10 - 15 days and let me have your feed back. 1. Massage / rub your two middle fingers tightly (of hands and feet middle toes) of both the hands and both the feet about 1-2 minute each, twice-thrice a day. 2. Before going to bed - soak your legs for about 10 minutes in a bucket half or one-third filled with warm water mixed with some salt or fitkari (alum). After that wipe them with a towel and wrap in a dry towel or bedsheet for 10-15 minutes. 3. Massage your legs with lukewarm mustard or til oil. 4. Stop standing for too long at a time. 5. Stop taking sour and acidic food, cold drinks, cold and stale food. 6. If you have lower back also pain, stop bending forward or straining the back. If you still continue to have the pain after about 10 days of doing all these things,

Hi Siva, most common cause of low back pain and body aches are postural pain. Try to seat in a correct posture while doing your works. Do stretching exercise regularly, specially back muscle exercises. It will strengthen your back muscle to relieve the pain. If not then consult with a physical medicine specialist, If not improved you consult with a psychiatrist. But you have to rule out any underlying pathology in the bones, muscles n nerves. Thanks.

I have low back pain for last 6 days or so. The pain concentrated on the l. S. Region, slightly over right sided s. I. Joint. There is no radiation through lower limbs or adjacent areas. Pain aggravates while bending forward. I tried with exercises and swd. But, not so much improvement seen. Please. Guide me.

For the first aid just apply hot water and cold water fomentation thrice a day for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each time followed by ift and laser therapy for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each time do use only firm hard and even mattress for sleep

Hello lybrate user, leg pain after running is common due to spasm in the leg muscles known as tibialis anterior which functions to pull the foot towards your body during walking, running. When a person runs or exerts an unaccustomed stress there occurs production of lactic acid in the muscle which is quite painful. Relief by: rest ice application stretching exercises will help a lot god bless you.

It requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Back exercises. Many people go to physiotherapists with back pain. Here are two exercises that help to relieve pain and reduce stiffness in the back: •Dear, 1. Lie on your back with both of your legs straight. In this position, bring your left knee up close to your chest. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Return your leg to the straight position. Repeat with the right leg. •2. Stand up with your arms on your side. Bend to the left side while slowly sliding your left hand down your left leg. Come back up slowly and relax. Repeat with the right side of your body.

I am just 20 years old & my knee pains (only right knee) mostly when I sit with folding legs for longer time. It started recently about 2-3 months ago when I came home after started playing cricket after a long time. I thought pain will disappear as time goes on but its still there.

Dear , I am Dr. Saseendar, specialist orthopaedic surgeon from chennai. Where exactly in the knee is your pain? is it on the knee cap in front of your knee? or is it below the knee cap? do you have pain during playing or when you kick a ball or run? I suspect it is a strain on your patella or your patellar tendon. Kindly let me know the details. Since the pain has been there for so long, it is advisable to get x rays for your knee.

My son is 4 years old. Usually he tells that he has pain in his leg. It occurs in night. When it pains we have observed that his foot gets more warm in comparison to other parts of leg. Earlier we have consulted physician and tested for sicklin test. All are normal but advised to give calcimax (syrup). Still problem is continue.

It's called growing pain, many children keep complaining at night time. Apply some analgesic balm. If pain is more you can give paracetamol 250 mg at bedtime.

Do hot fermentation. Stop eating chilled and sour food. Do some yoga and exercise everyday. Medication. Raasnadi guggul 2-2-2 maharaasnadi kadha 2 spoons twice a day with equal quantity of warm water. Amritaadi guggul 2-2-2 all for 6 months.

Not all patients of backache need surgery. Most of them can be managed without operation rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
