Take bed rest, plenty of liquids, proper food and paracetamol tablets for 2- 3 days. If no relieve you should see a physician for proper examinations, investigations if necessary and advice.

My sister has been having pain starting from hips which goes to toes.She has visited orthopedics as well as neuro physicians, but the doctors are not able to diagnose why the pain is there.Recently the pain has moved to neck.Can you please suggest what should be done.

Hi Hamstring Stretch Stretching improves range of motion and keeps you limber. To get the most out of your stretches, warm up first with a 5-minute walk. To stretch, lie down. Loop a bed sheet around your right foot. Use the sheet to help pull the straight leg up and stretch it. Hold for 20 seconds, then lower the leg. Repeat twice. Then, switch legs. Calf Stretch Stretching exercises also help prevent pain and injury. To do a calf stretch, hold onto a chair for balance. Bend your right leg. Step back with your left leg, and slowly straighten it behind you. Press your left heel toward the floor. You should feel the stretch in the calf of your back leg. Hold for 20 seconds. Repeat twice, then switch legs. For more of a stretch: Lean forward, bending the right knee deeper. Don?t let the right knee go past your toes. Quad Set Is the straight leg raise too tough? Do quad sets instead. With these you don?t raise your leg. Simply tighten the thigh muscles, called the quadriceps. Start by lying on the floor. Keep both legs on ground, relaxed (left photo). Flex and hold the left leg tense for 5 seconds (right photo). Relax. . Do two sets of 10 repetitions. Switch legs after each set... Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hi, Both the conditions can be inter-related, before coming to any conclusion, please first of all describe your all the problem in details like - where the exact location of pain? Since how long you have been suffering? How much is the severity of the pain? Any other associated problem with it? When the pain gets aggravated and relieved? One of the very common cause of backache is bad posture! Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight (even while sitting or standing), avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Always select a chair with proper back support and hand-rest. (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Apart from these, stress could be the major cause of pains! Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. (The mind and body are deeply connected. If the mind is occupied by thoughts and worries then the shavasana will be unsuccessful. Therefore one has to acquire the stability of the mind along with the stability of the body.)

Hi, It looks like you have developed arthralgia due to the viral fever and generalised weakness. In absence of any joint swelling you can try some simple painkillers for 3-4 days and see. If pain still has not settled I would advise you to consult a physician. Please take a well balanced diet with milk, eggs etc to recover your strength. Thank you.

Hello lybrate-user pull your toes towards yourself and hold for 20-30 seconds. If you can't hold your toe try to reach it, and bend as much as you can. You can also use a band or piece of cloth to wrap around the toe and pull while bending. This helps stretch out the calf muscles and quads, and helps in relieve a cramp. Also please do relax for two to three days without givibg much stress to your legs. Also please do the following. Cold compresses when leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. Cold compress for leg pain-600 wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg (s) elevated. Do this a few times a day.

Avoid spicy food in your diet and also avoid peanuts and potatoes in your diet and as far as medication is concerned I will suggest you to take tablet pan-l before breakfast daily and take a break for 10days after every three months.

Hello, first of all you should start taking a healthy and balanced diet. Hair fall is a result of any deficiency of any essential nutrient. *eat colourful fruits and green leafy vegetables. *include more protien rich supplements to your diet. *take phosphorus 200, 5 drops, morning empty stomach, once in week. *wiesbaden 200, 5 drops, daily morning empty stomach. *apply arnica hair growth oil (b &t) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. *wash hair with arnica montana herbal shampoo (sbl) *drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. *take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, daily morning. For black spot:- apply aloe vera gel on the black spots twice daily. Take blood purifier r- 60, 15 drops with water twice daily. Revert me after 1 month.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).
