Hello, I would like to actually understand: - The level of the injury and what injury has actually happened? - What is his neurological status in terms of motor power, sensory examination and evaluation of reflexes? - What is the status of his bladder and bowel involvement? Hello, Kindly follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying Kindly go for cervical X ray AP and lateral and review with reports Consult Physician for Further Management

This not agood sign. For subsiding it I suggest you some remedies 1. Have your dinner at 8.00 pm and sleep at 10.30. 2. Avoid over eating 3. Avoid heavy food 4. Yogarag guggul 1 tab before lunch and dinner.

I am having arthritis for the past 4 years. There is a slight joint space diminish on the medial side. I do exercise very regularly. But I am noticing that I get swelling on the back of the right knee which is causing problem. This happens on prolong sitting and diminish on walking. Please advice how to cure this symptom.

Advice... Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

For the last four days I have a severe pain in my back, just below the shoulder blade. I feel the pain when I get up from sleeping or sitting posture. Coincidentally I discovered 2 days prior to the back pain that my blood pressure is high 150/100. Any advice please?

You have to take rhus tox - 30 / 5 drops in little water thrice a day for one week. Revert back after one week with feedback.

I am having pain in my right hand elbow joint since last one month. Ortho says it is called tennis elbow with minor increase in uric acid. Even after taking medicines for tem days no improvement. But I observed that after doing walk & light exercise with hand/shoulder movement the pain has receeded. Should I continue doing exercise or should go for medication. Kindly adivse.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am dr akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Tennis elbow is chronic inflammation around lateral epicondyle region of elbow. I advise my patients to take: 1) intensive ice packs for local application 2) intensive physical therapy under supervision of a physiotherapist 3) anti-inflammatory as per your body' s suitability 4) activity modification do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance or you do not get relief, then I will suggest you some other measures. Its a type of arthritis affecting the vertebrae and For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don’t apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit and aerobics exercise needs to be done on alternate days lifetime.
