Hello, Few lifestyle changes can help you in controlling and preventing the high blood pressure, even if you're taking blood pressure medication. Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Essentia Aurea/ thrice daily which is a cardio-tonic which helps in maintaining blood pressure, improves muscle tone of the heart and narrowing of blood vessels.

You should consider quitting smoking. At the age of 21, smoking 1 pack a day is too much. It may lead to severe respiratory diseases in adulthood. Try nicotine gum for change, it's harmless n effective if you wish to quit smoking.

Reduce your oil/ghee intake, reduce fried items and non-veg foods. Avoid starchy foods like potato, rice, etc. Increase your fiber intake by increasing your green leafy vegetables. Fish, flax seeds, citrus fruits, sprouts will all help in reducing your cholesterol.

Hi, my age is 28 years. I have been suffering from a severe chest pain. I was ignoring it thinking it might be coz of overeating or bad sleeping posture as upper back was also paining. But last night I couldn't sleep however I could find a bit relaxed pose and slept, its paining with every single movement of body and with deep breath. The pain is at the centre of chest, even a gentle touch pains. May I know the root cause for this pain and the possible treatment? I'm 100% vegetarian, non-smoker, never had alcohol. I'm allergic to pain killers probably diclofenac.

Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. Stent is also caled baloon therapy. A wire is passed through a major blood vessel towards the heart vessel which is blocked by plaque. The wire is fitted with device to open up the blood vessels, to put aside plaque, once blockage is clear, the wire is withdrawn and person is put on bed rest for a day. Proper posture is to be maintained to avoid bleeding through the site. Cost is about 1 l plus, depends upon the center.

Your pulse rate keeps changing constantly second to second. By the time you counted in one hand and went to the other hand, it can change. There is no fixed constant pulse rate for any human being. There is only a normal range. Even bp is usually different in the arms of the same person and changes from minute to minute. These are multifactorial as your body keeps adjusting to daily minute to minute factors internal and external. Don't worry about it. Your finding is not a disease. It is only misinterpretation due to your ignorance.

you should be avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Drink more water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. You can take Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Hi, Repeat all the tests again if the symptoms are persisting. If then as well the reports are normal, need to probe into it further. Is there any kind of stress/ tension? As this could be one of the reasons for pain. Meantime, start take homoeopathic Heart Tonic by Schwabe Essentia Aurea /10-20 drops should be taken 3 times a day before meals. Management: No matter what your age, everyone can benefit from a healthy diet and adequate physical activity. -Choose a healthy eating plan. The food you eat can decrease your risk of heart disease and stroke. Choose foods low in saturated fat, trans fat, and sodium. As part of a healthy diet, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, fiber-rich whole grains, fish (preferably oily fish-at least twice per week), nuts, legumes and seeds and try eating some meals without meat.
