Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Dear lybrateuser, to perform well in sports you have to have a proper nutritious diet. -have your meals on time -have milk, eggs, fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, whole grain foods like pasta, bread, chapatti. -to boost your iron levels have green leafy veg like spinach, methi, non veg, jiggery. -also sleep well 7-8 hrs at night -keep yourself well hydrated throughout the day -have a snack like bread & cheese, a banana or biscuit one hour before playling a sport.

Hi, Follow these tips to increase your blood pressure: 1. Increase intake of salt by adding salt to curds rice and taking pickles along with curds rice. 2. Drink plenty of fluids like Nimbu pani, tender coconut, water, buttermilk, fresh fruit juices,etc. 3.Drink hot coffee or tea when you feel dizzy. 4. Take sound sleep for 7-8 hours at night. 5. Avoid standing for too long hours. 6. Do yoga and meditation which helps to relieve mental stress and control emotions. 7. Avoid anxiety, stress and depression. 8. Perform regular exercises. 9. Consume lots of fresh green leafy vegatables, fruits, sprouts, high protein diet, etc. 10. Check your Hb% and BP with your family doctor and take their advise for further management.

I recently had a heart attack. It was diagnosed that there was block in artery formed due to blood clotting. I was hospitalized for 4 days and underwent 2 angiography. The clot was removed by medication. I am just 36 years old and very adventurous kind of person. Take it as a shock treatment. 2 blockages are removed and you will lead a normal life if you are are fully careful about dos and do nots. Do not smoke or get exposed to pollution. Keep blood sugar levels and lipids levels within healthy range. Eat moderately and keep bp and weight under control. Exercise moderately according to constitution. Take more proteins like milk and curds. All of proteins supplements. Reduce bad fats like transfats out of your food plate. Eat good fats like a spoon of desi ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts everyday. Eat carbs and seasonal vegetables and fruits plus eating according to constitution. Take a spoon of honey added to water every day. Drink apple cider vinegar plus a spoon of honey added to it. Drink pomegranate juice, it does bring down the blockages. Say no to negative stress, only positive fruitful stress to bring results. Help others with cardiac problems. Good luck.

Can one find the percentage of artery blocked for heart in CT angiography and accordingly till how much percentage blocked can b treated with medicines and lifestyle change and diet. CT angio has its own limitation and can not b replaced by angiography . ( as percentage of blockage can only b ruled out in angiography and DM patients are on more risk of blockages) 2 d echo and stress test indicates whether you must go for angiogram or no need of it if your heart function well. so send reports of your 2 d echo and stress test to help you.

Dear, To control & maintan BP normal these are best methods to follow:.• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.
