Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses. Cereals, potatoes, sweet potatoes, plantains etc. Can be useful for gaining weight. Also take vegetables, greens and fruits. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve digestion and absorption of food as well as blood circulation. Eat at regular intervals.

what symptoms you are having other than Itching like rash/ redness/ scales Have you applied some Anti fungal ointment like Candid cream etc? Fungal infection may need accurate diagnosis and require long treatment in form of ointment and anti fungal tablets and for Diagnosis microscopic examination of scraping may required send me picture of your lesion than i can guide you further

Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Use Bakson's Apricot scrub at least once a week. For gaining weight: Taking a little walk before eating is one of the many ways to help fire up your appetite. When you are not hungry, choosing your favorite comfort foods may help. So can jazzing up foods with spices and herbs to enhance flavor. Liquids, including water, can fill you up. So drink liquids separately to help make room for nourishing foods. The sweet taste of fruit can rouse your appetite, especially when blended into an easy-to-tolerate smoothie. Diet: Foods highest in calories and nutrients are foods with fats, especially plant fats. Plant fats such as nuts, peanuts, seeds, peanut butter, almond butter, avocados, and oils are great sources of healthy fats loaded with nutrients and calories. Animal fats provide nutrients and the same amount of calories as plant fats, but they also contain saturated fats, which can increase LDL (bad) cholesterol. Eat nuts by the handful or sprinkle them on top of soups, salads, cereal, desserts, and casseroles for added protein, fiber, healthy fat, and calories. Granola, loaded with nuts and dried fruits, is a concentrated source of nutritious calories. Dried fruits are a concentrated source of calories that can be tossed on salads, yogurts, cereals, desserts. Potatoes are a great vehicle for toppings. Or, when you cook potatoes, add in flavored oils, milk, cheese, chili, vegetables, and beans. Exercising: Do light exercises daily without fail (better to be done under supervision of some qualified instructor). Exercise will tone up your muscles and give good physique/ figure. Medication: Schwabe's (homoeopathic) Alfaalfa Tonic/ thrice daily 1/2 an hour before the meals and Five Phos./ thrice daily 1/2 and hour after the meals.

I am 54 years old male diagnosed with diastolic dysfunction grade 1 in a echo test. All other parameters are normal in this test. I had normal BP/SUGAR/CBC/LFT/KFT .my symptoms are 1. Some times air hunger but not regular 2.tiredness on exertion what kind of precautions I need or any other investigation required.

Hi Lybrate user Weight gain is very slow process. For weight gain you need to follow a strict food regime and exercise regime patiently for a long time. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. I have a problem in my nose. It's feel like my nose is close. But it's not. It's so irritating for me. I don't know what should I do for this. It's not a cold or not a my nose block. Bt still m feeling like that.

It could be the problem of dns (deviated nasal septum), in this the middle bone of nose is slight deviated to one side and can cause obstruction, also there can be a polyp in nose, that is a overgrowth in nose which can obstruct the nose. This can only known after examination of nose. Try to take vapour inhalation from a plain warm water 2 times a day, daily for 4-5 days, see if the problem resolve.
