You need to provide me your daily food intake details .There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high protein prescribed diet. Maintain a healthy body weight Eat a balanced diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian , I being a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their diabetes problem. I will also prescribe medicines that will speed up the time to achieve your weight management goals. Gradual weight management is always advisable. To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects

Our weight should be proportionate to our height. For every given height there is a normal weight range. You must do several things correctly to gain weight. A healthy diet: this is the foundation of gaining weight. If you don't do this right, the other things you do won't be effective and could even be harmful. Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Check your thyroid status regularly. Every 3 months do some exercise take care what you are eating avoid junk food take your dinner around 7 in the evening go for walk during night.

Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

Do regular exercise and streching. For increasing weight and height best natural way is start doing surya namskar in the morning. No drink before and with meals. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Include protein rich food in your diet. Take small and frequent meals.

Hello lybrate-user, most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Calorie counting does not work. Instead of correcting metabolism, this kind of diet make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it may not reduce weight much. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Start reading or a mild walk before going to bed in the night, take very light dinner before 9 pm especially 3 hrs before sleeping. Start taking luke warm milk before sleeping that will help you. In the morning take 5-6 almonds, 2-3walnut and 2anjeer everyday to improve your memory and concentration. To improve your energy levels take proper breakfast with sprout, milk shakes etc.

It is good to have pirates exercise? Is there any harmful effects of it on old persons?

Hye Thanks for the query. You can do any exercise in order to stay fit. It is important that you enjoy it and are able to manage it at least 3-5 times a week depending on how strenuous your work out is. You need to see that you move into any exercise gradually. If you are a newcomer to exercise, try to train your body first with basic exercises like cardiovascular involving brisk walking, swimming. Get your basic parameters like blood pressure, blood sugar, lipid profile and bone density checked. You can do yoga, strength training, aerobics, swimming,  jogging or even indulge in sports like football or an enjoyable activity like dance. The idea is to stay physically active. Lastly the technique of any exercise be it the seemingly simple brisk walking  is also important. And don't forget stretching and warm up before any exercise in order to avoid injuries.

No you have boiled/cooked your rice and then taken - now do not panic nothing will happen. However take neem leaves early in morning for few days all of you for increasing your immunity. But better keep your food stuff away from the reach of mouse/pets ......you know better.
