Hi, I used to a walker during my college days and have a lot of stamina. However after 10 years of work life my stamina has taken a huge hit. I Am not able to be active like I used to be. I maintain a good appetite and I am not obese, but I want to regain my stamina. Please suggest.

For stamina n energy, you should have a wholesome diet with enough proteins (eggs, fish, chicken, milk & its products, nuts -seeds etc) and good quality fats (rich in MUFA-PUFA) and moderate carbohydrate intake with focus on high fibre. Hydrate yourself properly and include enough fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not have long gaps between meals and do not skip meals at all. Have a good breakfast before you leave for work with source of protein in it. Workout for 45 mins daily be it brisk walk, any sport, swimming,etc .Some exercise while sitting at the desk would be useful too. For antioxidants have variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and the right cooking oil, fish, nuts and oilseeds for omega 3 fatty acids. Hello I met with accident in June 2017. Undergone right elbow surgery and then, physiotherapy treatment. I feel very low and don't feel energetic. Also, time to time, suffers from acute pain in area around shoulder and chest. I do walking occasionally and a few mild exercise. Currently, work from home. Try correcting your food intake to feel fresh and light. You should avoid packed and market food, reduce wheat and rice based food and minimise sugar, oil and salt. Increase intake of natural food like fruits, vegetables, sprouts, nuts & seeds.

Make necessary dietary changes and combine it with 45-60 min brisk walk / any exercise like dance, swimming, aerobics, etc if not gymming. Focus on higher protein intake, lower fat and restrict carbohydrates to complex ones only. Avoid simple sugars completely. 'Eat Out' less (or avoid completely if want to lose fast) and have good quantity of fresh foods (Fruits, Vegetables) which are not processed. Have plenty of water and sleep well. Hi, Why do I always feel so weak in the morning? The moment I woke up I feel cold and my muscles in my arms and legs feel weak also. It feels good when I pinch them. That's called unrefined sleep, because of brain fag (eye closed but brain working on in sleep) causing you all these complaints.
