You should include more iodine-rich foods like fish, seeds and fish oil to get essential iodine. Most carbohydrates from fruits, vegetables, whole grains such as brown rice, rolled oats. Proteins with a minimum of animal products but more of vegetable proteins. A good breakfast to keep the metabolism working and to avoid cravings and take small and frequent meal. You should avoid excessive salt intake in the diet. Iodine-suppressing foods like cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, soybeans, and turnips. Caffeine drinks like coffee, cola.

For weight loss along with exercise it is important to take frequent meals at regular interval of time. Empty stomach try to include 2 tsp aleovera juice+ 2 tsp amla juice in equal amount of water. In Breakfast you can museli/oats+ milk+ 1 apple /1 bowl green moong dal sprouts/1-2 besan cheela+ green chutney. In mid morning 1 cup green tea + 1 bowl fruits. Lunch 1-2 wheat bran roti+ 1bowl veg+ 1 bowl salad/1 bowl veg daliya + 1bowl curd E.T:1 cup tea+ 1bowl roasted channa/murmura Dinner: 1 bowl fruits+ 1glass skimmed milk/Grilled/roasted paneer/1-2 bowl cooked yellow moong dal+ 1bowl veg. I consume black coffee (without sugar or milk). The weight of instant coffee powder I use is 3g. It's nutritional information is given to be 270kcal per 100g. Am I consuming too many calories? As per my calculations it's just 8.1 calories. Does 270 kcal means 270000 calories?

Dear lybrate-user it definitely DOES NOT mean 270000 calories. It means 270 only. Its a unit and k is pronounced as kilo calories but doesn't mean that you have to multiply 1000 to that value.

Bring your body weight down to 50 kg slowly. Have patience and adapt a healthy lifestyle and give your body ample time to adjust. Stick to your discipline. Eat healthy food (avoid junk food, processed food, and sodas) and drink enough water (8-10 glasses of water or more if required). You have to follow healthy dietary habbits. Maintain a healthy weight, go for exercise. Avoid fried fatty food, junk food, preserved food. Sugar and salt intake should be moderate. Start taking 1 tsp Amla and 1 tsp alovera juice in a cup of water every early morning as it helps in detoxification of the liver and would help in better nutrient absorption. Do some physical activity. Follow healthy breakfast, have fruits, healthy lunch including high fibre like salads and veggies. Follow green tea twice a day. Follow light dinner. Drink plenty of water.

Processed Foods - Why They Are Harmful for You?

Do you like to eat processed foods, and gorge on them a lot to stay away from cooking? It is important for you to know that processed foods are bad for your health and it is best that you avoid consuming them. Although all food items we eat are mechanically processed in certain ways, chemical processing, which is the primary feature of processed food items, is hazardous for your health.

Here are the major reasons why you should not eat processed food items.

  1. Processed food contains high amounts of sugar and fructose corn syrup: It is a known fact that excessive consumption of sugar in any form is not good for your health. Processed food products are loaded with sugar in huge amounts and also contain high fructose corn syrup, which is equally harmful in excess. Sugar basically has empty calories, which contain no important nutrients. Sugar also has dreadful effects on your body metabolism and may lead to high triglycerides, increased cholesterol levels, insulin resistance, and excess accumulation of fat in your abdominal cavity and liver.
  2. Processed food is hyper rewarding in nature and over consumption gets likely: Processed food items, because of their high content of sweet and fat, become a sort of addiction for many people. The reward centers of your brain acknowledge them, and as a result, you develop a constant craving for such food stuff.
  3. Processed food contains harmful artificial ingredients: It is likely for you to not understand the names of ingredients, which processed foods are made of. This is because of the reason that maximum of these ingredients are not actually natural, but are artificial chemicals which get added for several purposes such as preservation, maintaining aroma and much more. These chemicals are associated with several harmful effects on your health. The common ingredients of highly processed foods include the following:
    • Chemical preservatives for preventing processed food from rotting
    • Chemical colourants, which induce attractive and unique colours to processed foods
    • Chemical flavors for giving specific flavours
    • Texturants for proving a particular, specific texture to processed foods

The hyper rewarding nature of processed food can lead to severe consequences in many people. It is possible for you to become addicted to processed foods, and lose total control over your consumption rate. This problem of addiction to processed fast foods is a major problem in today’s world. It is an important reason for obesity, which is a prominent health concern today all over the world.

Today, our lifestyle is a serious threat to our health. We live in a way in which we do not provide the right food to the body, nor do we exercise it right. Taking into account the fact that we consume so much processed food and even more unhealthy food, is there something that can be done? Well, of course! Without having to put much effort, follow some simple steps, which will result in plenty of benefits.

Remember, the main area of focus in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle is your diet. After all, it is true that this has massive effects on the health of any person, regardless the stage of life he or she is at.

  1. Sleep better: Over the longer run, it is impossible for a person to prosper health-wise if he or she does not get a sufficient amount of sleep, according to what is actually needed. A few simple things which can be done to improve a person’s sleep are cutting out caffeine and alcohol from one’s diet. While it may seem that alcohol helps a person sleep better, it does throw the sleep cycle out of whack. Similarly, caffeine has properties which contribute in keeping a person up for longer hours.

  2. Eat a balanced diet: When it comes to the ideal diet for a healthy person, it should contain an adequate amount of nutrients and should also be balanced so as to not overload on any one set of nutrients. Comprehensiveness has its much required advantages. So adequate portions of fresh fruits and vegetables is a must, while you should keep a check on the consumption of sugar, fast food and starchy food items.

  3. Quit smoking: Smoking is one of the worst habits any person can have and it does no favours for any individual, regardless of the situation that is faced. If no problems are faced, it can create its own! Apart from the repercussions on the heart, what also occurs when a person smokes is that the bones are weakened and the bladder is irritated. Additionally, the risk of cancer increasing. So, who would want to compound the normal troubles of life with the misery all these things can provide?

  4. Focus on fitness: Regular exercise is something which is quite underrated. Consistency is said to be key. As a matter of fact, it improves sleep and does wonders for a person’s mood, apart from other health benefits such as keeping the weight in control. It not only protects joints, but also helps overall health, and can go a long way in letting you lead a healthy life.

Hello- Its a abdominal cramp induced due Unwanted 72 pill. It will result in vaginal bleeding in upcoming days. To relieve the pain, massage your abdomen with warm castor oil daily in a circular manner for 15 minutes at evening hours. You will be relieved.

You can reduce your weight by following a healthy dietary pattern. You have to avoid fatty, fried and processed food items. Start your day with 1 tsp of amla and 1 tsp of alovera juice mixed in a cup of water, go for physical activity, have haelthy breakfast, have fresh fruits and veg juices, cut down on your calories (chapati/rice), add more veggies and salad to your diet, follow light dinner. Drink plenty of water and you can follow jasmine tea before going to bed. Cut down on your sugar and salt intake.

My grandfather (65+) was a diabetic patient he had injury in his leg fingers, we contacted doctor and he advised to remove the finger as it Is very bad in condition and we did the same. Now after 10 days of monitoring there is a black skin appearance at his near by leg fingers (doctor saying that is due to blood not reaching those places properly) now doctor says to remove upto leg ankle as blood flow is not proper upto that areas. And Calendula - Q 10 drops with one cup of hot water for hot compress 3-4 times daily. Then calendula ointment used for external only.

Weight gain can be a time-consuming process. You have to increase your food intake; follow 5 time small meal pattern. Start taking bananas, mangoes+ 1 glass milk+ protein supplement (proteinX), 4-5 almonds. Follow healthy food options to increase weight ; avoid junk. Start taking 2tsp alovera and 2 tsp amla jiuice in a cup of water every early morning to detoxiification as it would help in weight gain. Drink plenty of water, have fruits, fresh fruit juices, raw paneer, eggs, do some physical activity!

Hello sir, if your belly is sapping your body confidence, do not despair. The reason for your puffy midsection may be bloat not fat. Add more fiber-rich food in your diet, take less sodium ,add more fluids like water 8-10 glasses plus plenty of fluid rich foods such as fruits and vegetables, add potassium rich foods also.
