Spotting can be stated as a form of mild bleeding from the vagina. It is similar to a period, but it is much lighter and can occur in between your periods. Most women who are pregnant and are in their first trimester experience spotting. In fact, spotting is often seen as one of the early signs of pregnancy.

Spotting can happen because of any of the following reasons:

  1. Cysts in the uterus can cause spotting
  2. Though very rare, a thyroid problem can also lead to spotting
  3. Any infection in the cervix or uterine cancer can also cause spotting
  4. Lastly, hormonal imbalance can also cause spotting

What can spotting signify?
Spotting is completely normal and there is no need to be worried if it happens on account of any of the following reasons.

  1. Light spotting at the end of the bleeding period during the menstrual cycle is common.
  2. Spotting can also occur during ovulation; in fact, seeing some spots of blood when one is ovulating, is often considered as an excellent sign of fertility.
  3. Mild spotting can also develop after sex, especially if it is for the first time, owing to the hymen getting ruptured
  4. Mild spotting if one is on birth control pills is also normal.

When should you be worried?

  1. Spotting is an early sign of pregnancy and if you are not planning to conceive any time soon, then you must visit your gynaecologist.
  2. Spotting may also be a symptom of any STD, primarily Chlamydia or Gonorrhea.

You are having polycystic ovaries, for fertility treatment you will have to be given ovulation induction .you can conceive but no one can predict how much time it will take Besides your medical treatment you should do regular exercises, reduce wt. Avoid fast food ,and junk food.

Hello, Thanks for the query Since you have hypothyroidism it is necessary to see that it is well controlled with TSh <3 mU/L. Sometimes uncontrolled hypothyroidism does lead tp lack of desire. Therefore, please check TSH and if it above the mentioned level, bring it down to above mentioned level. There are other modes of treatment which can be considered later, which include certain hormone treatment. Thanks.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Pain in breast either in one or both, is quite a common occurrence in younger women. It can be more about 2 weeks before the expected menstrual period. This happens due to hormonal changes. In your case it appears to be of similar type. You wait for a few days, then it should subside. If pain is more may use some over the counter pain killers. This kind of pain is referred as cyclic pain. Thanks.

No lybrate-user madam. You will not become pregnant. Do not worry. Unwanted 72 should be taken between 12-72 hours after an act of unprotected penetration. The earlier it is consumed, the better the chances of preventing a pregnancy. Because it takes 72 hours for a pregnancy to take place after an egg gets fertilized in the womb, Unwanted 72 can prevent the same from happening when taken in the time frame of 12-72 hours.

दोस्तों आज के दौर में बीमारियों को तो जैसे बस बहाने की तलाश होती है कि बस हमसे कोई चूक हो और वो हमें अपनी चपेट मे लें। अब ऐसे ही मामलों आज के समय में अक्सर फ़ूड पॉइजन हो जाता है। जब भी हम बाहर का कुछ खा लेते हैं या फिर हम बाहर के खाने में अधिक दिलचस्पी लेते हैं, तो अक्सर हमारा डाइजेशन खराब हो जाता है। हम अक्सर जल्दी- जल्दी में जो भी मिलता है उसे खा लेते हैं, नतीजन हम कई तरह की बीमारियों सहित फूड पॉइजनिंग जैसी बीमारी हो जाती है। 
फ़ूड पॉइजनिंग की सबसे अहम वजह है साफ सफाई में कमी। जब भी हम कुछ खाते हैं, अगर वो अस्वच्छ स्थान पर हो या फिर वहां गंदगी हो, तो ऐसे में नुकसानदायक बैक्टीरिया हमारे शरीर के अंदर चले जाते हैं और यह बैक्टीरिया हमारे शरीर में इन्फेक्शन फैलाते हैं, जिसकी वजह से हमारी तबियत खराब ही जाती है जो कई बार फ़ूड पॉइजन होता है।

फूड पॉइजनिंग के लक्षण

  • पेट दर्द होना

हमने जाना फ़ूड पॉइजन के कारण और लक्षण जिससे बचकर हम फ़ूड पॉइजन की बीमारी से अपना बचाव कर सकते  हैं। पर तब क्या किया जाए जब फ़ूड पॉइजन हमें हो जाए। तो दोस्तों चिंता करने की जरूरत नहीं हम आपको बताएंगे कि फ़ूड पॉइजन होने पर कुछ घरेलू नुस्खों को अपनाएं और फटाफट आराम पाएं।
फूड पॉइजनिंग को दूर करने के घरेलू उपाय

1. अदरक
अदरक से हमारे व्यंजन तो स्वादिष्ट होते हैं, साथ ही यह पाचन संबंधी समस्याओं के लिए भी एक घरेलू उपाय है। एक चम्मच शहद में अदरक के रस की कुछ बूंदे मिलाकर लेने से पेट का दर्द ठीक हो जाता है।

2. जीरा
फूड पॉइजनिंग होने पर जीरा बहुत ही फायदेमंद होता है। एक चम्मच भुने जीरे को पीसकर अपने सूप में मिलाकर लेने से पेट की सूजन और दर्द कम हो जाती है।

3. एप्पल साइडर सिरका
अपने क्षारीय गुण के कारण सिरका, विशेष रूप से एप्पल साइडर सिरका गैस्ट्रो आंत्र अस्तर में आराम देने वाला होता है। यह पेट में बैक्टीरिया पनपने से रोकता है। इससे फूड पॉयजनिंग के प्रभाव को तेजी से कम किया जा सकता है।

4. तुलसी
तुलसी इन्फेक्शन के ट्रीटमेंट के लिए बहुत ही शानदार उपाय होता है। फूड पॉइजनिंग होने पर तुलसी के पत्तों के रस में एक चम्मच शहद मिलाकर खाने से आप को बहुत ही लाभ मिलाता है।

5. फल खाएं
केले में पोटैशियम की अधिक मात्रा होती है, इसलिए जब भी हमें फूड पॉइजनिंग हो तो खूब केला खाना चाहिए। केले में ऑक्सीडेंट मौजूद होता है, जो लिवर में ठंडक बनाये रखने में मददगार होता है। इसके अलावा सेब में भी यही खूबी होती है। यदि आपको फ़ूड पॉइजनिंग हो गया है तो सेब और केले को अच्छी तरह मैश कर ले, फिर इस मिश्रण को दिन में तीन से चार बार लेने से आराम मिलता है। 

6. नींबू सरबत
एक गिलास पानी में नींबू का रस, नमक, और चीनी मिलाकर एक घोल तैयार करो, फिर उस घोल को पी लें, इसे एक से दो घंटे के बीच लेते रहें।

7. पुदीना चाय

ग्रीन टी हमारी फर्टिलिटी को भी प्रभावित करती है। स्टडीज के मुताबिक़ ग्रीन टी में इस्तेमाल होने वाले पौष्टिक तत्व, विटामिन और मिनरल शरीर पर पॉजिटिव इफ़ेक्ट डालते हैं। इसलिए लगातार ग्रीन टी पीने वाली महिलाओं को गर्भधारण करने में आसानी होती है । 
इस तरह ग्रीन टी से आप इस तरह के हेल्थ बेनिफिट्स ले सकते हैं पर ध्यान रहे किसी भी चीज़ की अत्ति अच्छी नहीं होती इसलिए जरूर पिएं ग्रीन टी पर एक लिमिट से ज्यादा नहीं वरना फायदे के बजाय नुकसान का सामना भी करना पड़ सकता है।
