It's not harmful. Just take care of your calorie needs and make necessary changes based on your digestion. Restrict or eat in moderation those fruits which are very sweet in taste. Read more about Diabetes and it's management through lifestyle changes from the internet. You would also know about many myths that are creating unnecessary mental stress.

Manage your lifestyle. Sometimes levels fluctuate with the stressful lifestyle. Do not take medicine at sudden. First manage lifestyle, do some modification in diet for 15 days then go for medical help. Now manage lifestyle n take proper counselling.

Hi lybrate-user. Thyroid is the main regulator of our bodies mechanism. And it can lead to nutritional deficiencies. If it is altered. So yes there can be a connection. But it can be assured when we exclude other causes. For that detailed information and some tests are required. Also for the treatment regular follow ups are necessary. For which you will need to consult. You can consult me through Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment.

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counseling the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. You have just mentioned about T1 DM & not in control. But there are no other necessary details to suggest or guide. So please come back with following details: fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, dosage of insulin (units, type& number of times per day), present diet, extent of daily exercise, weight & height, plus any other related condition. By looking at those details, I will be able to suggest something. Thanks.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. First and foremost is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting close to 100 mg, PP 170 to 180 mg & HbA1c% close to7%. Things to avoid I am sure you are aware, like, sweets, deep fried foods, junk food, pastries, bakery items & foods made from maida. Plus avoid colas, alcohol & smokibg. Use whole grain flour for roti & chapatis. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salds & some fruits. Noodles if made from whole grain flour then it is good, otherwise should be avoided. Thanks.
