Hello do brisk walk and cycling daily. Take luke warm water before and after meals. Take plenty of fruits. Take plenty of fluids. Take high fiber diet. Take luke warm water with aloe Vera juice empty stomach early morning. Have small and frequent meals.

Homeopathy has a number of uses. It is a popular form of medication since it has negligible side effects. Homeopathy can even be used to help reduce weight and maintain a healthy BMI or body mass index. However, do not expect a miracle. Homeopathic medicines act slowly and it can be quite a while before you notice physical changes.

As with any homeopathic medicine, no one cure fits all. When prescribing homeopathic medication for weight loss, a doctor will need to understand your detailed medical history, lifestyle and overall constitution. Homeopathic medication to lose weight works by stimulating metabolism. Thus, in order for the medication to be effective, it needs to be accompanied by regular exercise and a controlled diet.

  • Calcarea carbonica: This is prescribed in cases where weight gain is due to thyroid problems and when fatty tissue is accumulated in the abdomen. They also have a slow metabolism and often suffer from constipation. It can also be prescribed to women suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Disease to trigger weight loss.
  • Natrum mur: Patients who have been prescribed natrum mur for weight loss have usually put on weight due to chronic stress and depression. Their weight is often concentrated on the thighs and buttocks. They also often suffer from anemia.Natrum Mur can also be prescribed in combination with Ignatia when weight gain is triggered by depression.
  • Lycopodium; This is used mainly in cases where excess fat deposits are concentrated on the thighs and buttocks. These people often suffer from indigestion with common complaints of flatulence and constipation. They are also very irritable and prone to overeating.Lycopodium and calcarea carb are often prescribed together to trigger weight loss in patients suffering from hypothyroidism.
  • Nux vomica; A sedentary lifestyle is one of the most common causes for obesity and excessive weight. In such cases, nux vomica is an effective form of treatment. People who can be benefitted by nux vomica often also suffer from constipation and intolerance to cold drafts.Nux Vomica can also be prescribed in combination with Alumina.
  • Antimonium crudum: This is usually prescribed to obese children who have a tendency to overeat. These children also often suffer from indigestion alternating between diarrhea and constipation.
  • Graphites and Sepia: This is usually prescribed to women who may have put on excess weight due to menopause. They can be used on their own or in combination depending on the personality of the woman and the symptoms showcased.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

First of all get your thyroid checked. Exercise regularly. Eat your meals at regular intervals. Avoid sweets, milk products, fried foods, bakery items. Do not sleep in daytime. Have atleast 1 bowl of salads per meal. Drink only warm water.

Few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water and I will suggest you to do suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity for a minimum of six months.

Hello Lybrate User, Try to avoid sedentary lifestyle, Losing weight requires you to burn more calories than you consume. You can lose weight by eating a well balanced diet that's coupled with exercise. You need daily diet plan and exercise to reduce weight. Follow this steps to lose weight - 1) Reduce your daily caloric intake by 500 calories. 2) stay away from high fat foods, such as chips, cookies, cakes. 3) Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains. 4) Drink 8 -10 glasses of water per day. 5) Eat 5 small meals per day, it will help to boosts your metabolism and keeps you feeling full. 6) perform exercises like squats, lunges, chest press, push-ups, biceps curls, triceps dips and situps to burn calories and fat and that all you can perform at home. Here is a typical diet plan for a day. Early morning: luke warm water + 5 bhige badam. Breakfast: veg dalia + tea/ milk. 12: 00 pm: any fruit + green tea. Lunch: 2 bran chapati+ any green veg + salad + curd. Evening: tea+ diet namkeen. (available in stores). Dinner (8: 15last): same as lunch but no curd. Can't take sugar more than 1 spoon in a day Basically diet plan varies from person to person depending on condition, eating habits and food choices. If you need customised diet plans. Hi lybrate-user Excess fat deposit on tummy area is due to insulin and glucagon hormone imbalance. To lose tummy fat you should avoid starchy and sugary food exm. Chapati, rice, bread, potato. U can use high protein diet exm. Pannier, egg, chicken. Take lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner.

Ayurveda is a renowned life science that has been credited with changing lives since ancient times. Not only can it prevent diseases and ailments, but it can also cure them with its combination of herbal medication, everyday routine and yogic poses. Weight management is a field that also enjoys various Ayurvedic remedies. Some of them are as follows.

  • Herbs: Herbs are a way of healing used by Ayurveda, and the use of various herbs can help in hastening the metabolism for healthy weight management.
  • Taste: Ayurveda recognizes six distinct tastes that should be incorporated into one's daily diet. These tastes include salty, pungent, sour, sweet, bitter and finally, astringent. Each of these tastes has several properties that balance the various hormones and health factors in one's body. These tastes form the various counterpoints to alleviate all kinds of health problems, which finally help in effective weight management. Also, one must eat all the seasonal fruits and vegetables to keep the body and hormones in good balance.
  • Exercise: While a daily routine of exercise is a must in any life science, Ayurveda too propagates the devotion of at least 45 minutes to one hour towards some form of exercise. Walking is said to be the most important and effective forms of exercise, followed by several yoga poses that can help in better weight management. Also, as per Ayurveda, it is important to move after each and every meal, so that a routine of eating and activity is built into the system.
  • Sleep: Ayurveda recognizes sleep or rest as one of the most important aspects of a healthy lifestyle. While good eating habits and exercise form one side of it, sleep or rest completes the triangle. One can also practice the Savasana or resting pose for a period of rest. And at least six to seven hours of sleep is a must as per Ayurveda.
  • Meditation: This practice helps in focusing on awareness which can instil the desired function like weight management in the body. Being mindful of what your body needs can also help in eating and exercising right.

Weight management is a lifelong process in Ayurveda.

Take protein rich diet and make sure to drink minimum of three litres of water per day and also drink a cup of milk mixed with a haldi powder twice a day

Hi lybrate-user There could be many reasons for weight gain. You are gaining weight due to hormone and metabolic imbalance in body. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement. To lose weight we need to focus upon some basic food plan like cutting down on grains and sugar exm. Chapati, rice, bread, potato. U can use high protein diet exm. Pannier, egg, chicken. Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. I am suggesting a general diet and supplement for you. Sample Diet Plan Breakfast – Cheese omelets with green salad. Lunch – Vegetables with salad.
