Hello SIR, I have workout around 5 month in a gym n I got some body structure which is different from before but not big as I want. So, to gain bigger arm n bulk up some muscle of my body, I hope its better to inject a steroid so as to gain bigger arm and my body. So shall I use steroid or not? There are several different ways steroids do make you gain weight while you’re taking them. One of the most common is due to an increased appetite. With an increased appetite, you will eat more. This means that you consuming more calories on a daily basis than what you are used to, which leads to the weight gain. Another common side effect of steroids that is associated with weight gain is fluid retention, especially around the abdominal area. When your body holds fluid, it will obviously cause you to gain weight. This happens because the steroid is responsible for helping to regulate the balance of sodium, water and various other electrolytes in the body. Therefore, fluid retention is often promoted, which can actually worsen or even cause issues with high blood pressure in addition to the weight gain. So I don't recommend to take steroids as health is more important than your looks.

How to Maintain Good Physical and Mental Health

The greatest wealth is health. Physical health and mental health are just the two sides of the same coin. One wouldn't be functional without the other. For a person to achieve a complete sense of well-being, he or she needs to have a functional mental and physical health. Although there are hundreds of methods such as yoga, meditation, exercise and annual checkups to maintain good health, people are not aware of them due to many factors such as lack of awareness. Yet the following are some of the habits one can adhere to in their daily lives for a healthy living. 

  1. Eat to stay fit: 'Every time you eat or drink, you are either feeding disease or fighting it.' Eating healthy is crucial as it facilitates and improves the metabolic functions of the body. One should always aim for a balanced diet consisting of adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals. Fresh fruits and vegetables should be included and fried, fat-rich and fast foods should be avoided to the extent possible. The right foods help in fighting foreign substances while the unhealthy ones breed them.
  2. Rest to be at your best: Requisite rest and sufficient sleep is essential for proper functioning of the body. If perhaps, early to bed and early to rise is not your thing, then you might try going to bed at a regular time each day. A good night's sleep rejuvenates both the body and the mind after a day's work. It can be compared to the refreshing cold water that one craves after a long run. So for those who love sleep, you people are possibly on the right track.
  3. Follow an active lifestyle:  A sedentary lifestyle is perhaps the cause of a diaspora of diseases in the long run. A daily dose of physical activity is quintessential for maintaining a sound physical and mental health. Physical workouts and exercises lead to an increased circulation of blood throughout the body and help both the body and mind to stay fit. If you do not get enough time for workouts, try running or walking for at least 30 minutes a day. It will help.

Start eating calorie rich food. Also, focus on protein and fats, Eat nuts, cheese, yogurt, dried fruits etc. Do some strength exercises at least 4 or 5 times a week.

If you want to gain weight, then it is very important that you do it right. 1.Eat More Calories Than Your Body Burns 2. Eat Lots of Protein Muscle is made of protein, and without it most of those extra calories may end up as body fat. 3.If youâre trying to gain weight, aim for 0.7-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight (1.5 â 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram). You can even go above that if your calorie intake is very high. Protein foods meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts 4. Eat Lots of Carbs and Fat, and Eat at Least 3 Times Per Day. Make sure to eat at least 3 meals per day, and try to add in energy-dense snacks whenever possible. 5.Donât drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. 6.Drink milk. Drinking whole milk to quench thirst is a simple way to get in more high-quality protein and calories. 7. Add cream to your coffee. This is a simple way to add in more calories. 8.Get quality sleep. Consult me for better result.

hello sir, take high protein and high calorie diet. take milk and milk products. have small and frequent meals. do stretching and cardio workout alternate days. take juice with glucose, milk with dates,sprouts, tofu, paneer, egg, lean meat, plenty of fruits, plenty of water.don't skip your breakfast and meals.

Hello, Correct if you suffer from any nutritional deficiencies. Ensure you include foods like aloevera, carrots,spinach, greentea,cocconut water in the regular diet. Drinks lots of water as well.

My new born not gaining much weight, doctor asked to give top feed, after top feed 2 times a day 90 ml, weight gain is around 20 gms per day, now doctor has asked to give 60 ml after each breast feed. She has vomited twice after doing so. She is 3.3 kg after one month, birth weight was 3.125. Baby is active and has no other issues apart from weight gain. Should we give so much top feed? Is it safe for baby?

Hello, Try to enhance the production of mothers milk. Mothers diet should be sufficient entry to facilitate enough milk for the baby. Avoid top feeds if possible, unless mother has a problem and cannot feed her baby.

Hi Gaurav, Over weight with weakness is a result of consuming high calories with low intake/ low absorption of Vitamins and minerals . To reverse both ( excess weight and weakness) , we need to consume low calorie food with good nutritional value of Vitamins and minerals. Take 750 mg Trikatu Churna , 1/2 an hour prior meals . Along this remedy, start following long term change in food and lifestyle patterns:- Start your day about 06: 00 AM with 10 minutes deep breath. Repeat it about 5 times /day. It will improve your body's Oxygen level and will keep you active throughout the day. Consume Meal / Fresh Home cooked snacks in every 2-3 hours.(Add, handful of soaked dry fruits- figs, Walnuts, Sunflower seeds or Pumpkin seeds in your meal plan or take them as MOrning / evening snacks) Add salad 15 minutes prior your Lunch and dinner (it will reduce calorie of meal and will add minerals & vitamins)

Water is not factory made medication so there will be no side effects but drinking water before sleeping without thirst will effects in acidicty problem also developes morning sickness etc drinking water according to the thirst is very important.
