You are working on effects of anxiety but how about working on main cause of it.
As you already know that it has started from an incident in past so why it has created such impact need to work on that. With medication if you do counselling and psychotherapy you will b able to see the change fast. Metaphor therapy works very good to overcome past issues.

Dear lybrate-user, both anxiety disorder and irritable bowel can be managed non medically, if you are motivated to try continuously for months together. I don't know since how long you are taking these tablets. Most of the drowsiness tend to reduce in 2-3 weeks. Heart rate above 100 is well controlled by beta blocker. Hi. Good day. You may take counseling and psychotherapy along with medication. Do meditation yoga and breathing exercise regularly. Take slow, deep breaths. Or try other breathing exercises for relaxation. Practice mindful meditation. The goal of mindful meditation is to focus your attention on things that are happening right now in the present moment.
