I have pulmonary tuberculosis and I'm taking doing now. Lately I have a feeling that I have uti because whenever I pee it hurts and one time there's a blood and I went to the hospital. I'm now also taking cefuroxime because that's what the doctor said and I noticed that my urine was not orange colored. Every day when I take the tb drugs whenever I pee it's orange first but now it's not. What could have happened? Is the tb drugs not working because of antibiotic?

Orange urine is due to TB drug intake, which shoild not be effected by antibiotic intake. Can be due to good water intake.

I am 24 year old with weight 140 kg. From last three years I am suffering from lumps on skin. It all started with keloid on my chest near sternum after that I suffered from cellulitis under the front part of my neck then I got lumps behind my neck. Which usually go away after taking medicine like cefuroxime axetil or ammoxocyclin whichever my doctor prescribes. But those lumps again starts to develop after sometimes. I'm 20 yrs old. I got UTI for first time in jan 2015 after that it has occurred 3 times again I have got it recently 15 days ago, and was on medications,(levoflox 500mg and zocef 500mg) and just finished my course of this medicine's yesterday. I wanted to know what precautions should I take, what should I do so that it doesn't occur again? And one thing my doctor advised already is drink lots of water as I drink very less water than normally we drink I am not that thirsty so don't drink much but as stated drinking more water as advised by my doctor I have frequent urination problem please suggest me what should I do for this?

Avoid spicy food in your diet and next time you have problems of urination than immediately do a urine culture and sensitivity test

My mother is having a cyst from 6 months on upper neck region. Not painful but something like a small swelling. But from the past 10 days it became reddish, painful and swelled a bit higher. My baby is 11 month old. She has suffering from cough and short breath for last 10 days. I am treat augmentin syp - 4.5 ml tds and monticope syp 3.5 ml bd. But after one day she has loose motion. I stopped augmentin and treat the ors and darolac .loose motion was stopped and again short breath has continued. I treat other monocef cv syp and monticope syp. But not relief. I have last treat zocef cv 125 mg and monticope but again loose motion. Now loose motion is closed and short breath is continued in morning. Now what I do.

The loose motion is the effect of monocef or the zocef and is not dangerous. You can continue the medicine along with darolac and ors and breastfeeding. Never in your child's life give bottle feeding and give only break fast and spoon feeding.

I am 42 yrs married female .on may 27 ,on 4 day of my periods I had severe dysuria with hematuria. Actually I was not drinking enough water as I was travelling. Took monocef inj for 3 days. Orally for 2 days.in june 22 .3rdvof my period had terminal dysuria for 1 day. Culture showed growth .usg was normal. Took cefuroxime for 10 days .again in july 9 days after my period had terminal dysuria for 1 day. Culture no growth .my urologist advised a cystoscopy sos dilation. My gynaec suspects a vaginal infection. advice zocon t and norflox for 5 days. Pap smear report awaiting is this a gynaec problem or a uro. Pls advice.

It is a urinary tract problems which needs to be evaluated after clinical examination and as of now Avoid spicy food items and not to eat junk food and we also need to avoid peanuts and potatoes in our daily diet and now if you are symptomatic than a combination of antibiotics ZifiO should be effective after clinical examination

6 days before exactly about 4-5 pm I was feeling cold and slight temperature. I thought it must be cold outside so I must be feeling. But after 3 days at around 4 am I felt extreme cold and high fever. Then doctor gave me Lariago, ibugesic asp, cefuroxime, I continued this dose for 3 days but didn't had any change. Then doctor change ibugesic with Dolo 650 Now today is forth day of medicine still I don't feel fit. I am having body ache and getting temperature and cold back 4-5 hrs after taking medicine.

Dear sir/madam, I was admitted to the hospital for 3 days and was under the treatment of a pulmonologist for acute viral bronchitis with severe congestion in the chest and en&t. I was given inj cefuroxime iv bd and levofloxacin infusion bd for 3 days along with anti cold tablets and syrup. By the time of discharge I had completely lost the ability to smell and taste. On having reported to the doctor about this, he asked me yo stop taking anti cold medicines, which I did. Its best 4 days now but I have still not gained back the ability to taste and smell. Congestion still persists and approx every 30 minutes I need to expel sputum which is white in colour. Please suggest me what should do as early as possible.

Tast and smell can take some time to come. Take lot luke warm water and do saline gargles. Some cough can persist due to post viral laryngopharyngitis

I have urethritis, (not sexually active) {might be due to soap action}. Initially I felt burning sensation at the tip during urinating. I took azithromycin 500 mg for 3 days. Burning sensation is gone, but at the opening of urethra there is still some redness & presence of some fluid {discharge is not active, just presence of some fluid (not urine) in urethra tip}. Should I continue taking azithromycin 500 mg for a few more days or, start with some other medicines like doxycycline, amoxicillin, cefuroxime? I am 22 years old male, currently at my parents. Don't wanna let my parents know thus unable to physically book an appointment. Please prescribe some medicine.
