Hello, Mr. lybrate-user. Your father's age is 69 years so his sugar values are slightly on lower side. Chances of hypoglycemia are more with such strict control in this age. You have not mentioned when he is taking gluconorm and when he is taking eternex m. His medicines needs to be reduced.

I have seen the details given. The glucose values are absolutely fine. So there is no reason to change any treatment. Fasting glucose is quite low, any value lower than that can cause hypoglycemia. Otherwise present medication is quite good. Please check his serum creatinine and urea as well as microalbuminuria to know kidney function status.
