Zinase tablet is an anti-inflammatory painkiller. This non-steroidal drug alleviates symptoms of arthritis such as inflammation, pain, fever and swollen joints. It helps in treating rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylosis and severe menstrual pain.

This medication works by obstructing the production of cyclooxygenase, which synthesizes the compound called prostaglandin. This compound is responsible for symptoms of arthritis such as pain, swelling and inflammation. It is effective in providing pain relief.

The effect of each tablet lasts for 11 to 12 hours. Therefore, the standard recommended dosage is twice a day. It is advisable to take this medication only under the guidance and recommendation of a medical practitioner.
