Hi, 10 days before I was feeling little chills at around 4: 30 pm, they I took Lariago, ibugesic, dolo650, Later due to no change my blood n urine test was done widal, CBC,WBC, malaria parasite, In which widal test came positive S typhi H - 1: 80 S typhi O - 1: 160 Then doctor started giving me Cefuroxime-250, acetaminophen extended release tablet, omee But I didn't felt any change Then he replaced and added few medicines Sumo l 650, cefuroxime, probiotic capsules, pantoprazole sodium 40 and domperidone 50 Along with Ciprofloxacin IV But still I am getting fever upto 102. 6 degree Now he is telling to start malaria treatment also. Please give me your suggestions.

Urine culture shows pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria Aztreonam, cefuroxime and cefuroxime shows resistant zone size 6 mm And ultra sound kub shows mild diffuse urinary bladder wall thickening Previously VUR GRADE 5 REFLUX operation done Please suggest complete prevention of recurrent UTI.

Hello doctor, I have something to ask you in my case. Last november 2018, I was diagnosed of having a community acquired pneumonia (moderate risk) and got hospitalized for 3 days. The doctor prescribed me to take cefuroxime and it made me feel okay, my phlegm is not that yellow again. But after a few weeks of stopping my medications, the yellowish and sticky phlegm returned then I went to a check up and have an xray finding of bronchitis and prescribed me again of cefuroxime for a week. Then again, after a month now, I observed that the yellowish and sticky phlegm returned again now. And im so much confused and worried about my health, I do not know if I have something more that needs more medication. Kindly help me please.

I have developed multiple lumps in both the arm pits which are reddish in colour, doctor has diagnosed it as hidradenitis suppurativa, earlier I took oral medication ie Clavam 625 for seven days but yielded no result. Then I was given IV LINEZOLID in the hospital for two days and discharged. Now its 5 days since discharge but the lumps have re occurred, Wbc count is 13700, band forms 9%, rest all shows normal in the report before starting the medication. Kindly advice.

Which was diagnosed as left cervical lymphadenitis the condition is repeating after almost a month. And has repeated fourth time. He has been on antibiotics like zifi for 3 or 5 days. And on the last occasion linezolid for 14 days. But it has again repeated with same symptoms. A little worried wants to seek expert advice. Please help.

Just check for painful swelling behind ear. Pinna. If so then any scalp condition can cause it. Otherwise it is part of cold and due to seasonal change. Just cold medicine will help child for both. It will subside in 2-3 days. Or else you can visit Dr.in your area. Thanks.

This could be age related as she is also nearing menopause. Advise her to take calcium rich diet. Also she should take a diet with lots of fruits and vegetables.

Now a days, Typhi-dot is accurate test than widal test for typhoid diagnosis. It is very strange that your wife has been suffering from fever since 40 days due to typhoid or UTI. Generally medicines takes two weeks or little more times in resist case to cure typhoid or UTI.
You should consult with a
physician for
further evaluation.

Zytanix is required if patient has swelling and breathlessness. Telma helps the heart to pump more easily. You should continue telma unless BP is falling even lower to below 100. Satanic requirement is decided by fluid retention in body and lungs.

Is osteomyelitis curable disease? Eve after 2 surgery bone infection still there last 6 months. Infection due to mrsa. Still pus discharge from post surgery stitched. Fed up of having linezolid. Though it is sensitive medicine for mrsa:(.please help is bone infection curable problem or lifelong manageable problem?

Osteomyelitis is usually recurring condition unfortunately.
Antibiotics can help to control the infection but usually it recurs. Sadly!
