Hello,
I am a little puzzled , if you have low hemoglobin the commonest cause is iron defeciency, but you are taking everything other than iron. I dont know the reason why prednisolone has been prescribed there is a certain lack of details and therefore i cannot comment.

Hello lybrate-user. From the symptoms described by you, it seems that you have been suffering from viral keratoconjunctivitis. It is a viral infection of the eye and tends to take long periods of time to resolve. By long periods, I mean that it may take months (upto 6 months) to completely heal. Hello dear
recurrent uveitis warrant some tests like cbc, esr, crp, chest x ray, mantoux test, s. Ace and ana and canca.
If all these are normal then take steroid treatment depending on whether it is anterior, intermediate or posterior uveitis. We usually give steroid sparing drugs in case uveitis persistd for long and warrants treatment for long.

Oh! i'm sure child must have got ivig therapy intially. Well in itp 35000/- pc are indeed good. We see kids having pc of even 2000 to 10000. Without any bleed. Eventually they recover. Tapering regimen is very much required and your doc is very well doing that. Azoran is usually prescribed when there are refractory cases where pc were low for quite a low and or child comes with secondary itp. So I assume your case also be such tough. Be assured things are going to be fine. Have patience and make...more

Get your blood counts done with esr, if counts are ok, steroid injection in the knee can be given. Could also try changing methotrexate to leflunamide- consult your rheumatologist for the same.
