You can use 1)inj. Human mixtard (30/70) 2)inj. Human insugen (30/70) 3)inj. Huminsulin (30/70) all of the above are almost similar to humalog mix 25. It has to be taken 30 minutes before food

Considering her approximate age and duration of diabetes, it seems more like type 2 rather than t1. If such is the case, she also needs to be on insulin sensitizers which are oral medicines. Also,actrapid alone will never cover her basal glucose production, so she also needs to be on intermediate acting insulin.

It is important to know that, because it gives a long term view of glucose control. To give any advise I need to know hba1c%, exact fbg & pp levels, serum creatinine, urea, dietary pattern & extent of daily exercise.
