For general painful conditions you can take over the counter available analgesics like Ibuprofen or Paracetamol or Disprin.
Nimesulide should not be used as it has been banned in many countries. Drugs like Ibuprofen and Disprin can cause gastritis and kidney damage if used over a long period of time specially if the patient also has diabetes or hypertension. 1. For adult nimesulide 200 mg twice daily + paracetamol 500 mg 4 times daily + becadexamin once daily for 7 days
For older child (son) use nimesulide 100 mg and paracetamol 250 mg
for 20 months old daughter
use nimesulide 50 mg and paracetamol 125 mg per 5 ml and give 5 ml
2. Get CBC (complete blood count done)
If TLS is less than 6000: viral
if TLC >10000: bacterial
If platelets below 75000: get admitted to hospital for supervision and platelet transfusion if count ...more
