Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Based on the details mentioned it looks like her blood glucose level is not in good control. It is better if her HbA1c% is checked, which gives an idea about long term control. Usually in patients with long standing diabetes in later years, treatment with Insulin becomes a necessity. Because oral drugs do not give necessary response. My suggestion is please comeback with following details: Fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, dietary pattern extent of d...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Almost all medications being used in treating diabetes are fairly safe. There is no reason to worry about any side effects. However, in your query there is no mention of actual blood glucose levels like Fasting, PP or Random plus HbA1c%, hence without knowing those details there is no way to give any opinion or suggestions. I hope you understand. Thanks.

lybrate-user ji, thanks for the query.
Madam you have mentioned quite a few drugs, which you want to take. Even though your glucose levels are too high, it is difficult to say whether you can all of these. The treatment for diabetes is not just taking a bunch of medicines which reduce glucose. Each medicine has a specific role and based on each patients needs the treating doctor decides how to begin the treatment.
