At 65 yrs, hba1c is fine, but I would recommend to bring to 7, you can start with sitagliptin 100 mg once a day, and continue metformin and voglibose. Take vitamin d3 and vitamin b12 supplements, testerone levels decreases with age, tester one caps can be taken, but under guidance of urologist or sexologist.

Hello Your HbA1C value is very good. Which means your blood sugar is under good control because your taking the tablet. If you stop it, blood sugars will increase. Maybe after 3 months if your HbA1C reduces further, instead of stopping the medicine, dosage should be reduced.
