Itching near thigh can be due to various causes (dermatitis/ fungal infection. Fungal infection is very common in diabetic patient and difficult to treat .for that your blood sugar level need to be well controlled. Keep the area dry and clean. Visit nearest physician for diabetes and dermatolgist for skin infection.

Hello, Thanks for the query As you are on certain drugs your body gets adapted to those compounds. Therefore, some times the change in compound between similar drugs may nt give desired results. Trigenta is Linagliptin and Januvita is Sitagliptin, even though both have similar action, dosage is different. So there is a possibilty of different response. Results may improve over a period. Two things are very important in diabetes control and they are diet and exercise. Patient should avoid sugar jaggery honey sweets sweet fruits like mangoe grapes banana cheekoo etc. Diet should be small, frequent eals and easily digestable. Exercise,walking and yoga are equally important. If you are overweight reduce it .Then comes role of mediines.In my openion pt. Should follow one system of medicine under the guidane of a qualified doctor.
