You are right. His sugars are very bad.
Requires additional medication and stop all sweets, decrease fruits and rice, stop sabudana.

With HbA1c% 10, it is clear that diabetes is not in control. That is the reason Insulin injections have been added in the treatment. There is no mention as to from when is on the insulin injections. Plus it is also necessary to know her serum creatinine & urea levels, to look at the possibility of reducing or discontinuing Insulin. Unless blood glucose level is strictly controlled, it is not possible to discontinue Insulin. Thanks.

fasting should be around 100
slight fasting is high.
medications are fine.
complete your dinner timely
take less carbohydrate in dinner.

if possible check mid night around 3-4 am blood sugar
to see the level at that time .in many of case when sugar level gets low in midnight than compensatory mechanisms happens in body and blood sugar rise leads to high fasting value .

in this situation we need to titrate night medication and diet properly
