General Physician•
Best way to have vitamin d is to get exposure to nearly morning sun to ultraviolet rays of sun there by converting the eargosterol pigment which is present in the skin which gets converted to vitamin d automatically and that is the best way to increase your vitamins d.

Oral supplementation is good enough. Also take sunbath in the morning if possible to enable your body to harness sun's energy to make Vitamin D naturally. Also, since Vitamin D is fat soluble, you also need to eat fat to absorb it. Good sources are Flax seeds, Walnuts, Almonds, extra virgin olive oil, mustard oil( for cooking) and saturated fats (Ghee or malai or makhan but in less amounts).

Hello,

Iron and calcium supplements should never ever be taken together, they interfere with each others absorption.
As far as vitamin E supplements are concerned,i hope you are taking them under doctors recommendation. As self medication can prove fatal.

Diets that are deficient in vitamin c can cause severe dental problems, including loose teeth and bleeding gums. Try a salad with citrus fruits, such as orange or grapefruit sections, to boost your body's ability to fight those destructive symptoms, as well as plaque. Be sure to buffer citrus fruits by including them as part of a meal, because their acid content could potentially erode tooth enamel.
