Hello hope you are keeping safe 1) I understand that you are having itching of the skin kindly provide me a photo of any lesions if present to treat it appropriately. As there could be various reasons for skin itching and rashes like - ezcema - sweat rash/ miliaria - atopic dermatitis - drug allergy - food allergy - fungal infection - folliculitis - seborrheic dermatitis however from your brief history it looks like a fungal infection / tinea cruris. 2) if there is only itching and no rashes, you can use - apply any petrolatum jelly or vaseline to repel moisture from the area - any anti-fungal soap like ketoconazole soap for bath - t. Cetrizine 10 mg once daily in the night (if itching persists) send a photo of the lesions to me so I can grade the severity to give you the appropriate anti fungal treatment. 3) if the pruritis/ itching doesn't subside within about 2 - 3 weeks of treatment, please check your - liver function tests - renal function tests - thyroid - iron and hb levels 4) follow these measures. - keep area always dry - use only dry clothes - iron your clothes before wearing to kill the fungal molds - do not share your personal items. - maintain good genital hygiene. - wear loose cotton made clothes - do not itch as it can lead to secondary bacterial infection - sleep in a cool and ventilated room - avoid over clothing - avoid using irritants and use a non- soap cleanser. -avoid heat producing food until flare up reduces like root vegetables, spicy foods, spinach, beans and potatoes etc. Hope your query is cleared thank you and take care.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the query. However, there is no mention of vital information like: weight, height, fasting & pp glucose levels, hba1c%, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, bp readings & lipid profile. It is important to know whether blood glucose is normal or well controlled. Because if glucose is high, then frequency of urination does go up, particularly at night. Hence, all the specifics are known there is no way of giving any suggestions. Thanks.

10 Best Tips On Dietary Care During Fever!

Monsoon season has started and there are easy chances of catching cold, coughs, fever, diarrhoea, etc. Fever is a common sign of infection. When an infection occurs, the immune system will launch an attack to try to remove the cause. A high body temperature is a normal part of this reaction. After the monsoons are over, a number of vector borne diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya, swine flu etc seem to flourish.
You may have no appetite when you have a fever. However, it is very important to eat healthy food in order to have your body supplied with the energy and nutrients it need to fight the infections. There are certain foods that can speeded up the process of healing.

Foods that are hard to digest are a no-no during a fever because your digestive system is not in its best shape. Also, you should refrain from having foods that supply your body with no vitamins and minerals. The overall diet during viral infection should be light, easy to digest and full of fluids. Liquids in the form of hot soup or even plain water helps to excrete impurities. Food or any liquid consumed should be preferably warm.

Here are the list of do's and don'ts for the Dietary care of fevers

1) fever leads to lot of sweating. This results in fluid electrolyte imbalance in the body. Soups are a good choice as they’re easily tolerated and will also help to replace any fluids and sodium that may have been lost. Take plenty of fluids in the form of water, soups, honey/ginger/tulsi tea to replenish the loss of fluids. Recommended intake of water in fever is 2-3 litres/day

2) due to fever we tend to loose a lot of calories. So we need to take a healthy carbohydrates diet consisting of cereals to replenish our energies. For eg dal-rice, poha, khichdi, upma, etc which are easy to digest and provide required energy are good options

3) taking probiotics such as curd can help the gut to stay healthy and to curb the side effects of medicines

4) proteins are very important which can be taken in the form of dals, eats, chicken soups. Proteins helps us to repair the tissues damaged during fevers

5) avoid fried foods, spicy and fatty food. They are difficult to digest and can cause extra burden on your stomach

6) fruits:- most fruits contain 80 percent water, so they are very good for rehydration. Food rich in vitamin c are good for immunity and also to repair cells lemons, oranges, indian gooseberries are good source of vitamin c

7) vegetables:- vegetables supply a surplus amount of essential vitamins and minerals required to support our immune system as help to rid of fever. Vegetables likes carrot, onions, are recommended. However avoid eating raw vegetables during fever as they may cause gas or bloating.

8) herbs and spices:- there are many herbs and spices which work as immune-boosters. Garlic, ginger, laung, cardamom, cinnamon to name a few.

So next time whenever you have fever, visit your doctor for medicines and follow these diet tips to bounce back to recovery!

My skin is oily nd I have dark spots of pimple and small pimple also can I use melaglow cream.
To prevent pimples, eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided. Don't peal pimples, as they tend to leave scars. Stop using soap on face. Instead take a spoon of milk, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Mix n apply on face with the help of cotton. Leave for a few minutes then wash off. Apply moisturizer like coconut oil. For swollen pimples, gently apply ice for a minute or so. Just don't keep the ice on so long that it irritates your skin. Tea tree oil can kill bacteria. Some people use it to treat minor skin irritations, including acne. There isn't much research on how effective it is, but tea tree oil is safe to put directly on your skin in a diluted form. Try it on a small area first to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction. Simple honey maskbefore applying this mask, rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Then apply honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water; then rinse again with cold water to close the pores. Yeast and yogurt mask for oily skin oily skin is prone to acne, and this home remedy can reduce excess oil and help clear acne. To make the mask, combine 1 teaspoon of brewer's yeast with a little plain yogurt to create a thin mixture. Apply it thoroughly to all the oily areas and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water; then use cold water to close the pores. For permanent cure you need constitutional medicines, for that I need detailed case history.

Hi -lybrate-user it took several years for the fat to get accumulated and it is not possible to decrease fat suddenly. The main reason why people are not able to decrease fat is lack of knowledge how fat gets accumulated.
