I have my reservation on diagnisis and treatment.
If it was uncomplicated Typhoid the first line of treatment is 3rd generation oral cephalosporin CEFEXIME not Azithomycin. Azithromycin is recommended in MDR cases.
Well if your chikd is not running fever better stop all the medicines.
Use of antibiotics should not be indescriminate. You have every right to ask your doctor regarding justification in use of antibiotics in case you or your child is suffering from fever.

Yes Ayush. Please stop taking Azifine. You are right that taking antiobitic for too long with cause resistance. You can go in for chemical peels along with local applications so that acne can be controlled.

Hi,
firstly if you are self-medicating, you shouldn't. You need to see a doctor for a severe cough.
Secondly, to answer your question. Both are antibiotics and their use depends on physicians choice for the particular condition the patient is suffering from.

Pleural effusion is usually a manifestation of an underlying disease. If you are having similar complaints again but on the other side too it's unlikely it's because of the pleural effusion on the right side. Would advise you to get it evaluated with a pleural tap rather than taking medications this time around.
