Dear Sir Please do not stop the medicine on your own even though you are feeling well. Abruptly stoping the medicine can cause a relapse of depression. Consult your psychiatrist regarding tapering of your medicine try to squeeze in some form of physical exercise at least 3 times a week. It will not only help your weight but also help your mood. If the medicine is suiting you and you are psychologically stable, desvenlafaxine is safe. Regarding weight and high cholestrol you should do life style modifications - walking/ skiiping/ jogging and avoid sugary foods. Take more fibre and less carbohydrates.
