Dear lybrate-user,
when did you last consult your psychiatrist? Please consult her/him without stopping the same dose of tablets. She/he may increase the dose or add another drug/therapy or change the drug. The good medicine is the one that works for you. You have to try with enough dose and at least 3-6 weeks. It looks you have developed tolerance to ativan. Reduce and stop it since it does not work as antidepressant.

Dear Lybrate user

Ask your doctor to reduce the dose initially and then gradually you can stop them. This way you will not have withdrawal symptoms. Moreover, you should go for counseling for your anxiety and insomnia, it will really help you because counseling will resolve the problem from the root cause. Also take healthy ...more
